Despite the weather forecast, I plan to travel to London tomorrow, and offer my support to the Occupy London demonstrators (I haven't seen the news yet today, so it is possible that they have all been arrested, in which case I will be on my own)
I have never been on any kind of demonstration before, and I was gutted that I didn't join the massive march against Blair's iraq war

ps I have a tent in my cupboard, but on this occasion I will be leaving it at home (the tent pegs are rusty, and would probably not penetrate concrete)

Good luck. I also regret not marching against President Blairs misuse of power and his toadying to US imperialism.0 -

ah but think about oak
wasn't that the stuff that built the ships that enabled the slave trade?
I'm sure the banks would be happy if the slave trade had never been abolished - they seem pretty keen to introduce a 21st century equivalent
