It is very wierd - for some reason people in shops seem reluctant to hand out £2 coins. They do seem to always go for the £1 coins first in change. I leave it to chance and fate when I get my change from a normal shop, but when I go to my slimming class once a week I always get my change in £2 coins. This way I know I will be increasing my collection at least once a week.

I banked £100 of my hard-saved £2 coins yesterday (in anticipation of Christmas spending, which is my point of saving them) very hard to part with them though. On the plus side for you savers there's now some more in circulation!0

I got one yesterday and two this lunchtime, which brings me to a grant total of £14.
Just need to hunt down some more now....
