Are you like me? Once you decide to start something you get to the point of obsession? Do you dream of saving these wonderful, oval beauties and then despair when you can't find any? They all seem to disappear, just as you deside to throw your all into saving them. Do you look longingly at your change and just wish there was a £2 coin among it? Then wander off down the street at a loss as to why there never is?

Well, this morning I had a 'eureka' moment! I discovered the whereabouts of all those elusive golden coins! :T

It's simple really, they are all hiding behind the big bloke called 'question'. I looked at the £4.32 change out of my £10 this morning and then confronted 'question' with a friendly, yet bewildered, smile. "Excuse me", I asked, "you wouldn't happen to have any £2 coins rather than those single ones, would you?" (You need to confront 'question' before the drawer's closed) and lo and behold, before my very eyes, 2 shiny £2 coins were produced and exchanged for my £1's :j

Oooh.... this really is my lucky week!! I know this is the £2 savers club, but I also started saving Scottish paper pound notes and US dollars, and I got a brand new, single dollar bill in the post this morning! :) I'm setting up my 'residual income source' for 2008 and sold an item to a gentleman in USA. Well, a 50p transaction is no good when using online payments, so I suggested he post me a single dollar to add to my collection. Not only did he do this, he was also kind enough to request that the item he purchased be retained and listed in my charity auctions later this month :T

I've finally decided what I am going to save for...mine & hubby's car taxes next year.
