Thank you !! i hope so!!! told my OH earlier and he said "we could be usin that money" (when ive saved!)to which i replied - "oh so you dont want it as a lil'savings pot for yourself cos thats what it was bein saved for?!" lol he smiled and said "oh thats ok then" :rotfl: wasnt gonna tell him but never mind!:mad: :rotfl:

Morning all,

Have just found a shiny precious £2 coin hiding in my trouser pocket when I went to put them into the wash - must have hid it there when I was out...;)

I love washdays, so much treasure to find....:D

£36 now, will bank when I get to £50 I think to save hubby from temptation..

Got another one over the weekend, which will make 12 pounds, my little glass container is slowly being filled with them!

It's completely illegal as far as I'm concerned to actually spend £2 coins....:eek:

They have to be carefully hoarded in my coin sorter then returned to the bank every so often. I've been known to offer loose change to my mates in return for them...:o

I got 5 of them last week:j - I found 2 on my OH's hall stand so I pocketed them, then I had one in some change when he sent me to the shop with some money so I kept that one as well. Another one appeared during my holiday again in some change and the final one was bought by me - I had a £10 note and he had £10 in loose change including another little precious:D

My jar now contains £72:j

Now then are you all like me? Do you have to sit and count them all when you get a new one?

As to counting them - my coin sorter has little graduations on the tubes, so I will admit to watching them:rotfl:

I'll keep going with this and any £2 coins I get from now on will be more than I imagined possible.
