I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Don't get many nowadays
as I keep away from the shops so have to re-home those that I find in otherhalves change when I can. However up to £92 so feeling pleased. :j
Just wanted to say :T well done/congratulations :T to thmaga you should be very proud of yourself - The £2's mount up fast and at your saving rate you will soon double/treble what you have saved already.
Welcome to NW-ANGEL - rules ! just find a box - tape it up- (with a slot in the top) like thmaga above, or a jar or tin or money box or whatever comes to hand (some people have teramundes (can't spell it but do have one) they are jars that you can't open so you can't get at the money inside unless you have a lot of patience and a large flat palet knife to slide them out -then just pop your precious £2 coins in and lets us all know how your doing - as simple as that - its very addictive. I got to£400
in my terumundi and then had to empty it as I could not squeeze any more in a nice little bundle :rotfl:

Can I join? I'm brand new!
I started saving £2 coins just before Easter because I wanted to treat myself to a new purse as my old one was looking a bit ratty. By May I'd saved £40, banked it and bought myself a lovely Radley purse that should last me for years!
I started saving them again but since May I've only found £6! It's a bit slow! I'm going to use them for a "Fun Fund" - in other words, all those things you want but can't really afford! This way I can justify them more! It would be for things like days out and concert tickets really.Because it's fun to have money!

Evening all,
now up to £18 as managed to collect another 4 on holiday - at the moment they are looking rather lonely in the giant jar I have optimistically put them in!
