started this on the 1st of jan, sealled the tin up last night & counted it before hand & there was £40 in there. going to set myself a target of £84 per month (£1000) at the end of the year, dont know if i'll do it but i'll give it a go.

You are really going to attempt to save £1000 worth of £2 coins and you live in Scotland? I've no chance of finding another one now, they are like gold dust here :rotfl:

Welcome to the £2 coin savers' club :)

  • Hi

Please may I join the £2 club? I think this is great and find it satisfying to see the little pile grow - even if it is very little at the moment.

I have been trying to collect them since just before Christmas and have £12 so far which is really good for me - I don't seem to get them very often, though i have noticed they're a bit like buses !! ;) and i honestly haven't had 1 now for nearly 2 weeks. Unfortnately might lose 1 tomorrow though as I think son will need it to top up his lunch money and i haven't any cash in my purse!! :(
  • Hi Everyone - I would like to join the £2 club. We have a large tin and are going to just seal it up and put them in each time we get one.
We are not going to tally up the total each time, as I think I might get tempted its ust going away for the end of the year and towards our holiday spending money :)
We start with £4 in it, which we put in last night :)

Its great to see all the totals adding up for people - a real incentive
  • I got another one today :j

Sorry getting a bit too excited about £2 coins :o That will make up for the one i didnt get last week!:T
