Hewlett Packard NX6325 2GHz 15" Business Notebook £599.99 inc VAT & Delivery (inc £100 off voucher) plus Quidco.

    This is on Play.com.
You'll need to pay £699.99 to Play.com and then go to http://h40059.www4.hp.com/morepc/redemption.html?jumpid=re_r135_uk/morepc_marcom_url to claim back £100. Looks like the redemption may end 31/01/07 so you'll have to be quick. Looks like all the info you need is on that link and supposedly the person who posted this on https://www.hotukdeals.com has confimed with HP that Play.com is an eligible reseller but read all the terms and conditions to be sure.

  • I've just bought a Dell Inspiration 6400 a week before this offer for £700. The spec is very simlar to this one and all I have to say is the laptop is brilliant. I've always been against laptops in favour of cheaper desktops but I had a little money so bought a laptop for my bedroom.

Now its like wow, I can lie in bed and surf the web, watch movies at ease, play music etc.

So for anybody whos thinking about it and needs pushing just do it, you won't regret it....I never and I paid £700. Mines not going back ;)

For £550 you CANNOT go wrong, the technology now is brilliant!

I take it no one who ordered this from play.com has had any problems with vat? I read on their site that the items come from jersey and you may be liable to pay vat.

I dont think it comes from play themselfs but from the manufacturer direct to you.

Jersey is VAT free so you won't be charged it, the price you see at play is the price that you pay. I paid £105 VAT on my laptop from Dell!

    Hi,
Was playing with our new gateway laptop last night, brilliant! Our first laptop and i would highly recommend it. We could get online without plugging in a usb adapter, is this correct? We have the blueyonder netgear wireless access point through the tv drive box, but our netgear adapter was plugged into our desktop pc?

The only thing i noticed was the lack of a manual about the laptop. Is this normal with laptops?
Found a lot of help on the uk gateway website though, but just wondered if the manual was missing or that they dont give you one with these?

Anybody else who has received this laptop, did you get a manual please?
    Many Thanks
    Lorraine
