well the gerbil cage is cleaned, as in the area surrounding it. But I haven't got the energy I thought I had to arry on, just yet, with the LR so I am going to intersperse physical jobs with sedentary ones - and dashes to the loo (still). Ah well *goes into Pollyanna mode* at least I can be glad I am off work as I wouldn't have had the energy to do a day, wouldn't have been properly prepared and would have inconvenienced colleagues.
I have a lovely lunch planned for Valli and the Valliteens though. Liver'n'onions.
DS hasn't heard back from his interview yet *job for the boy* vibes PLEASE

    Hello all.

First and foremost, a huge Thank You to Piggers for all your hard work running the Fred for such a long time; enjoy your well-earned "retirement" but please make sure to keep the fluffy mules to hand - we'll still need them flung now and then!:D

I'm so glad Dusty et al are happy to take over - I can't commit to anything on a regular basis, but I can offer occasional help if required. I'm usually around fairly late at night, but don't log onto the internet til 11 in the morning as a rule (as you can see from the time of this post!):p If I'm needed for a particular date/week, I can set an alarm to make sure I'm here.:o

That said, I'm unlikely to be around much next week; Mr LW has a week's leave, so we'll likely be out a fair bit. (I know he wants to go to Rugby on the Tuesday:().

Meg was collected yesterday afternoon, so the bungalow feels very empty; Mr LW is also on late shift today:( so I confess I'm struggling with the BD now.

OK, enough waffle, time to grab the list; I'm glad the whole week is there, as Mr LW is on early shift, wfh, on Thursday, so I can work on getting ahead by then.;)

ETA If anyone's interested to see Meg, here's her pic:

Aww pigpen we will miss you soooo much - please pop in when you can x Sounds like you need a well earned rest hunny xx

I'm not sure about offering to help with the running of the thread myself just yet - only because I'm trying to organise myself and think I would probably let people down :( However if I can get myself into a good routine I may be able to help in the future if that's ok ladies?

Ok well I'm certainly in this week - thank you soo much pigpen xx
I'm going to concentrate on one day at a time so not even looking at Tuesday's list yet,lol :)
Need to take DS1 to casualty first - he hurt his shoulder over the weekend playing Rugby, have been giving him Ibrupofen but it's still hurting him so think a precautionary checkover is needed.

Catch up with you all later, love and hugs xx

Hi all, well first to say Ta hun to Piggers for all your hard work and not to say amazing organisation re the Flylady Thread. Now siddown and relax awhile Mrs!:p:D

Also thanks to the next Flylady organisers, well done ladies for stepping up, will appreciate your efforts in the future.:T

Today I feel better, not 100%, not by a country mile, but better and that feels nice.:)

I have a huge week ahead of me as its hubbys 50th birthday today and we have 2 parties to sort for this weekend. I'm sorting out easy pre made food now. I'm thinking hot beef rolls for friday night, slowcooker job, easy peasy, veg curry for my vegetarian mates...again slowcooker job.

Saturday will be away from the house and this is a buffet style event. I have loads in my freezer so will be using up a lot of this. I'm planning to make ahead

Homemade meatballs. Cooked, refrozen, defrosted for the night.
    Chicken drumsticks.
    Gammon joint cooked and sliced.
    Vegetarian meatballs.
    Veg sausages on sticks.
    Meat sausages on sticks.
    Salami platter.
    Cheese platter.
    Bread/crackers/chutneys and pickles.
    Chips and dips.

Maybe some pasta and rice salads to bulk it out.....any other suggestions?

Flying wise I am in love.....:smileyhea:happylove:happyhear:blushing: with this stuff.

I got mine for 99p from Boyes....it's fantastic, I have, for the first time in years :o, just cleaned the grease sodden cooker hood and this stuff made really short work of it. Just melts and lifts it so a dollop of this and some kitchen roll sorted it out in no time.

I will do the sides of the cooker next which are fairly rancid.

Off to sort some stuff and drop my sick notes off.

Thanks to everyone who's offered to take over the thread too. Juliejim, kaz and dusty - please remember i've always liked the three of you, lovely, perfect human beings (hee hee do you think they won't notice when i'm missing in action now?)

Right, off to scrape the dog spots off the stairs and then brush and vac all downstairs floors.

I'm on a mission as friends arrive after lunch!

Love to all (is Lil_me still around  if you are hun). Also, saw boddy posting  :D xx

Just 'elbow greased' the side of the cooker which was disgusting and the side of the cupboards and tiled wall and floor underneath the cooker. I pulled it out and yeuck.

Ran out of kitchen roll so will have to pop out and get some later.
