Good try, but not good enough, it is not just my view, but factual and reported by media outlets. Backed up with proof. The government has been caught out lying on Libya, a bit like they were caught out lying over the Megrahi release.

This is kind of linked, but there is a really interesting section of Niall Ferguson's book about the history of money where he talks about where this conspiracy might have started. I'm going to badly paraphrase here as it's been a while since I read it, but I believe in Europe (and I think mainly in Italy where banking and financing started, although I may be wrong) there was a rule where Christians and Catholics were not allowed to lend to one another. However, Jewish people were allowed to lend and Christians were allowed to borrow from them, so the initial lenders in that society tended to all be Jewish. Thus, Jewish people were branded with the reputation that we see bankers branded with now, coupled with the fact that many of them became rich in the process and were resented by others. Segregated society basically, and obviously this has influenced Jewish cultures subsequently.

So I think that's where it comes from. Obviously any comments you read or see now about Jewish people ruling the world tends to be from conspiracy nuts who have a clueless racist agenda. No one 'rules the world'. The evidence for this is that we have never yet seen a single government that can organise themselves to rule a country to any decent standard, let alone sorting a plan to secretly rule the world. Have you seen the EU presidents meeting this week? Would you put any faith in them forming some organised and ruthless organisation to rule the world? I wouldn't...

the proof you have posted comes from:

1) http://english.pravda.ru/ which appears to be pretty lunatic, its top story at the moment concerns the US using special forces troops to exterminate cannibals in africa.

2) youtube - from something called "russia today", which carries a tagline of "More speculation has been raised on the reasons for NATO's intervention in Libya. As RT's Laura Emmett reports" (my emphasis)

so, i'm afraid that i don't agree with you that this is any more than a theory, and one of your own (russian) sources presents it as speculation - i.e. not fact.

I couldn't even look at the link as the internet filter at work ruled it as :

Perhaps my company's filter is also in the conspiracy?

Yes they had an awesome standard of living and not many starved, true. They also do benefit from health care and education. Also they have the freedom to be burned alive if they disagree with the gaddafi regime. This sounds like an excellent country to be part of. Adolf was also such a kind gentleman to offer jobs and showers to lots of jews, he alos helped germany through the biggest recession they have ever had. These guys should be given humanitarian medals.

Just to make you aware if your not already but look at the statistics of Qatar, this is essentially what a country like libya should be offering. Lets be honest, not exactly that great is it, i cant believe how rude/ignorant and offensive your post is. Im not sure wether your disagreeing for arguments sake or if you genuinely believe Libya was a good place to live under Gaddafi, i sincerely hope its the former.

Also people dont do this because they want to, feel hard done to because they dont have an ipod etc. Its done out of desperation, these people knowingly risked there lives to oust an evil evil dictator. We disagree with cameron most of the time but to what extreme would it have to go to publically beat and lynch the bloke?! Its something we wouldnt expect to happen because it does happen here because we have a democracy in place which doesnt allow it to!
