I still have bad memories from one's i bought off ebay a long time ago. They were the highest strength ones; i put too much gel on and instead of my teeth going white, my gums went white and they hurt like hell
-- threw them straight in the bin. My teeth aren't even stained, thought it'd be interesting to have a hollywood smile though
I've heard great things about Crest strips though on other forums and stuff.0 -
I've used this kind of stuff from Ebay before...

It really works. Took a while but repeated applications of about 30 mins really made a heck of a difference. If your teeth get sensitive, simply stop using it for a few days.
I was just searching about that Carbamide Peroxide on here before I made another thread..
A friend of mine has recently purchased this

It really works! Ive noticed the difference myself..
I done a bit of searching on the internet though and have seen places saying that 35% is too strong?
The link on your ebay site looks more professional so if I do opt for it I might get it from there..
Has anyone heard any horror stories? I badly want to get mine whitened - the dentist quoted £510 the other week which I havent got unfortunately so home bleaching (something I said Id never do) is looking like the only option! x0 -

Plenty!I badly want to get mine whitened
You may well get them badly whitened!- the dentist quoted £510 the other week which I havent got unfortunately so home bleaching (something I said Id never do) is looking like the only option! x
Just so long as you've got enough to get them fixed if it all goes wrong, you'll be fine.
But it will make £510 look like a bargin. How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
ah you have totally changed my mind now!0

\I know its not exactley what your looking for, but noticed in sainsburys today that they have BLANX toothpaste on offer for £4.66 (normally £7.99 I think) Few people I know swear by this stuff, and its sold for LOTS more on shopping channels.......!
Also very good for those who dont like 'foamy toothpaste' !
blanx toothpaste is a waste of money .tried it and it made not difference whatsoever.was better using bicarbonate of soda and a lot cheaperGoooooo with the Flowwwwww0 -

I'm just bumping this thread to see if anyone else can recommend the Crest Whitening Strips.0

I used them last year and thought they were quite good but they did leave my teeth feeling a bit sensitive after use.0

Eucryl smokers toothpowder is good for removing coffe and wine stains (and doesn't leave you with a raging thirst, unlike bicarb of soda toothpastes). I compensate for any harshness by using eucryl once a week and a pro-enamel toothpaste the rest of the time.
(I haven't read the whole thread so apologies if I've duplicated someone elses post)0
