*saunters in as if she'd been here all the time*
Cuppa anyone? I have biscuits. I mean, I may not share them - but they're there...;)
The big leap thing was to sign up with a temping agency and to book a stall at a big craft fair locally. I didn't want to mention either at the time as it took lots of deep breathing and chocolate to do either and sometimes you have to do these things behind the scenes. *hangs head* I'm sorry it's taken sooooo long to update you all though.... *stares at feet....shuffles feet....*
So the fair is before Christmas so I'm painting and crafting my little socks off. As for the job - in the end, though I signed up for the Agency, I actually found a wonderful job on my own.
The job involves helping people get through a lot of the problems we've all experienced on here. If you don't mind, I'll keep the details private but suffice to say that I love it. I haven't been there long, but on Sunday evenings I find myself smiling at the thought of going to work the next day (either that or it's wind). I tell you, I feel so blooming lucky that I wish I could run around giving sloppy kisses to everyone.
Because of what I do, I've been thinking more and more about this diary and how wonderful it's been to be able to mooch around the diaries and to get help and advice, or even a friendly ear (unless you've tried to steal my Counters - you know who you are..). Plus it's a good time to do a financial overhaul and start as I mean to go on - and what better resource to use than the money saving expert's?! This should mean that you see a bit more of me this time round - though I promise nothing!
In the meantime....
Scotdebs - nothing wrong with starting a new diary! Give us a link, there's a lovely.
Macpumpkin - a mini-Macpumpkin or a Mini-Cooper?!!
RosaBernicia - did you buy the place?!!
Northern Lassey - you are an Angel. Here, just for you...:rudolf:
Big hugs to everyone (whether I've mentioned you or not, you're ace!). Now I'm off to circle the diaries!

Oooh exciting - and what a wonderful, fabulous thing to have found a job that you love. So rare and beautiful!
I saw you posting on FB occasionally so figured you were busy crafting. All OK here and no, I haven't bought the place - would you believe the landlord simply hasn't replied to my email in over three months! And in the meantime my job situation has changed, and it's got closer to time to retry for the grad scheme thing which if I got it would probably mean moving... and the flat needs so much work that I can't really afford... so the buying idea got to feel scary and I've decided against it. I'm now looking to move, but to rent while my job situation settles a bit and then see what happens next year.
My diary has also been a bit neglected and so has the moneysaving - so I will also be doing a bit of a fresh start at the end of the month. The fab news is that work has calmed down a bit so I am revelling in just having me time! Reading things, chilling, and probably going back to the gym. Also recently been exchanging unnecessary email banter with a lovely guy at work... it hasn't got to more than that yet, but am loving the buzz and hoping!
Glad all is good in Nora land
