Should also advise that you read distance selling regulations as you have to abide by them selling online. Heavily weighted in favour of the customer.
Your web site is also flouting the law as you need to have your full contact details on it ie address, telephone, e-mail etc.If you're not behind our soldiers.....please feel free to stand in front of them!0 -

Cool. Would suggest you amalgamate the page Contact which is where I looked and Contact Information rather than having it twice. I didn't find the relevant information so that means someone else won't. I would put the contact form on the page below your address. If you're not behind our soldiers.....please feel free to stand in front of them!0

I really don't think it's possible, I know what you are saying and agree with you that it's a good idea, but I use 123.reg and it's all basically templates and you just add details. I really don't think I will be able to set it up how I want it until my contract with them is up and I get a professional to help me design my own site. It's all very limited with 123.reg.Princess Tinks0 -

Unfortunately I am paid up with 123.reg until September 2012, but after that I will definitely look into it, obviously though, it sounds a lot more technical than 123.reg (where everything is basically set up), so I will need help with installing and uploading, etc.
But thank you very much, your advice has been very helpful.
Glad to be of help. If you're paid up till September that gives you loads of time to practice on a local host. All the software is free so its worth having a play with.
Try the following for info

Alternatively there's loads of video guides on Youtube

You could stick a new logo at the top though right? if you got to Freelancer.com you'll get one done for like £30 and it will be good.
Seems a waste of traffic not to have them seeing your brand.0 -
Have just had a look at your site, and one thing really comes to mind, I am assuming that you buy in all the jewellery that you resell, you really need to put in the descriptions what the base metals are. You also need to know if the metals you are selling comply with the nickel rules (ie very little or no nickel in them)
Most reactions that people have to metal is the nickel and they will be looking out for jewellery that they know will not give them a problem, and there is nothing on the selection of items I looked at to give them this information.
Another thing... do you have product liability insurance? If not, then you really should have.
Hope this helps0 -
Hi hun,
Firstly congrats on setting up your business...as a fellow depression/anxiety sufferer and jewellery designer i know how hard it is. Yes the site needs work but they always do...I'm still not happy with mine after 4 years. Have you worked out your pricing to cover the time it takes to make the jewellery? I know its base metal but for free delivery, materials, time taken to make and overheads you cant be making any profit?
Best advice ive been given from a lovely SEO guy is to build backlinks to the site, this will help your google rankings and increase visitors. A blog attached to your site also is good as it gives you new fresh content which google likes. You can also write guest posts for other peoples blogs including a couple of links back to your site. Hope this helps a bit and good luck!0 -

Look at the site I think the OP buys her jewellery in so should have a good idea of what her base price is.
OP I would second what someone said about a logo, it can make a big difference to any site and they do not have to be expensive.
One other thing that may be worth looking at for now is to use your domain in your email address rather than your Yahoo one, it looks more professional and should be easy to set up with your current provider. The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.
