If you could re-visit anywhere...

I asked this a few years back and someone mentioned Sri Lanka, I have since been and loved it.
I am putting together a trip and really am stuck to find somewhere to go.
So - If money was no object and you could go any time of the year, where would you go back to (you have to have already been otherwise it becomes hearsay)
And why.

Cape Cod. Beautiful." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

Egypt - felucca along the Nile stopping at temples etc to look at heiroglyphics on the way.
Lovely slow peaceful pace and lots of historicals. Ending up at Aswan just because I really liked it there and did lots of shopping! (NB has to be the felucca, not a cruise boat.)
Then a swing out into the western desert which when I went had very few tourists.
Edit - actually I'd probably be quite happy to revisit most places (I'm easily pleased) except that there's so many new places I still haven't been to yet.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

For me it would be Rotterdam .0

I'd love to go back to Thailand. We toured there so I'd doubt it would be the same, but the people are just so lovely. It would be my dream place to return to. There is so much to see and do.
I'd love to take my OH to Bolivia too. I know he'd love it. I spent the whole time laughing at things that he would have appreciated. Again - the people there were so lovely (but so poor)."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
Toss up between Thailand (Khao Lak / Khao Lanta / Bangkok) and Maldives. I believe everyone should go to the Maldives once in their lifetime0

Agree with Cape Cod and any where in New England USA (Mystic is my very favorite place and on my wish list to live there if money was no object!)0

Sri Lanka - absolutely loved it! Did a week long private tour followed by a week laying by the beach and enjoyed the wonderful scenery, culture and people. Truely memorable!
Thailand - Vibrant and interesting - again another tour to take in the culture followed by fantastic beaches and plenty of sun!
My all time favourite - Kenya! Went on a safari for a week - I never imagined how magical this could be! I felt like I was on a movie set with all the animals just in front of me. Evenings were spent eating dinner overlooking a waterhole, where elephants, giraffes etc would take it in turns to come. Although its my favourite, I'm not sure I would go back as I don't think I could recapture that feeling again. If you've never done it, I highly recommend it!0 -
I loved Tunisia, nowhere in particular just travelled round and saw as much of it as possible.
I also loved Egypt,Jordon and Syria not to everyones taste but quite beautiful.
I don't do the tourist thing though,I like to see a country as it realy is.0 -
Great Barrier reef of the coast of Cairns, Australia.
Best holiday I've ever had and will definitely be doing it again in the future - once I've saved up!0 -
Back to add Lebanon to the list of possibilities. Laid back, mpre cosmopolitan than Syria, got the scenery and the historical stuff. And Beirut museum with the video of how they kept things safe during the war was amazing. I would have liked longer there than I had.
And good local wine. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
