i tried to purchase the 3 for 2 and BOGOHP games today for vtech it wouldn't take off both offers, came home e-mail customers services and got told It should have come off was given a ref to take back to store for staff to manually over ride price giving me both discount, will get back tomorrow so will update how it goes

All toys except above 24" bikes and games consoles and their games i.e DS PS3 are on the 3 for 2 so all baby born stuff will be included

Just received a call and a full apology from Argos Customer Service.

They are sending a gift voucher to compensate for the free item.

The store should have honoured the offer apparently

Fair enough but you have to understand that some people would get upset when they are told they are whining lol. Good luck for the birth, know how it gets near the end!

Can people who emailed Argos let me know how long it took to get a reply, and did you get any confirmation email of your email to them? I tried to send an email via their website but after typing everything and pressing the button it came up with a page saying my search could not be completed!:(

I had the same issue about the vtech games and received shocking customer service in store when I queried it, hence my email to them. The supervisor could not have been less interested if she had tried. And the sales assistant was not much better, although she did then say she thought the advertising was "misleading"...

I emailed them yesterday and they replied by a phone call within 10 minutes.

Ollysmum i got a reply alomost straight away plus i got confirmation of my enquiry via e-mail

update from me went back to the store today and no problems at all got 25% off 3 for 2 AND BOGOHP on 6 Vtech games original cost would have been £93 i got them for £40.01 :j now that's a saving i like to see, all i did was contact customer services stating "on top of all other offers" advertisement wasn't honoured at the till they agreed it should have no quibbles gave me reference went back to store and manager (again no quibbles) rectified total to include ALL offers saving me £53

I have tried emailing a few times today but I keep getting the failed search page coming up when I press "send email". I got shocking service in store from the SA and supervisor too so I will try again tomorrow. Thank you for the reply though and well done on your purchases! Fingers crossed I can actually get through to them!
