    Good Morning All,

Didn't manage to post yesterday so just had a quick catch up. Redruby good for you, I hope he feels thoroughly guilty.
Bargainbird, it sounds like the one I bought, don't feel guilty it will last forever, so it's a saving in the long run:p

Was out early yesterday as DH had to be at the docs. He still has a strange swelling just below his rib cage but the doctor is baffled, he has no other symptoms other than it aches slightly. Possibly he has torn a stomach muscle, he does lift weights and does a very physical job, so he will have a blood test and a scan just to be sure and he has been referred to the gastric dept at the hospital but that could take ages. The doctor was very reassuring but I will worry until we know for sure what it is:o

Then we spent the rest of the day measuring and planning the kitchen. I am hoping its all done for Christmas as we have 14 coming for dinner and counting!

Today will be spent at home, I have done a wash and was planning on pegging out but its raining so that will go on the maiden.

I want to catch up with a couple of programmes the boys wont watch and I have half a pork joint that needs using up, just can't think what to do with it:cool: then after lunch I will begin stripping in the family room/kitchen.

Have a good day all Julie

    Morning everyone.
Not posting much, nowt to say really :o:o

Builder was supposed to be here this morning, early, to start the conservatory. Good job I am not holding my breath waiting for him to arrive as I'd be dead on the floor <rollseyes>

Lovely and sunny here but cold. Still far preferable to the wet stuff ;)

OK had better get a move on, got housework a-calling. May or may not be going with DD to her first forest school in the woods.......all depending on whether said builder gets his butt in gear grrrrr.

Hugs and spoons all round. Have a great day OS or not.

I am in work til lunchtime, then have uni this afternoon. Need to pop to shops to get few last bits of stuff for hols and pick up pair of shoes that are being re-heeled. Also need to sort out my currencies!

OS wise - DW will go on tonight, ydays laundry needs to be put away/packed, dinner will either be a takeaway :o or freezer surprise depending on how I feel after uni.

    Have a good day all

    morning all!

day off:j:j:jonly one in 7 days this week so I'm more than ready for it.

Have had a lie in followed by a tidy up. My sister popped round for coffee and a chat:)

Having some HM celery soup for lunch - never made it before but it came out suprisingly well for a made up recipe:D would have liked a bit of cream to put in but didn't have any:cool:. I also found it tasted better the day after it was made.

(((hugs))) to all those in need.

Morning all. Up earlier today as it was my turn to walk hound first thing. He disgraced himself by using another dog walkers leg as a lampost. I was mortified. Thank goodness it was another dog walker - she just said 'it happens'.

Gorgeous day here. Very windy. After lunch we are going to climb a hill and tire hound out again. He's loving it here. Unfortunately, he's going to expect the same level of attention when we get home.

OS wise. Not much today - continue finishing off bits in fridge that won't last. Finish shopping list for Mr T.

    Have a great day all.

Morning all! Bit parky here too today, but washing is all out on the line. Hopefully it'll be dry eventually. Not done much else yet as had a phone call to make regarding some school-based work after half term and that took up about 40 minutes. Lunch will be some soup I found in the freezer and supper will be some lasagne I also discovered in there. Still have salad leaves for picking from the garden plus some tomatoes so no shopping for food today. May get to gym later but not feeling too stressed about it so we'll see! may just read a book instead!
    Loads I could be doing...
Anyway, hope you all have good days!

    Morning,

Hugs to anyone who needs one, though I could prob do with one myself :D- not sleeping well and its getting me down-hot one minute, throw the covers off then feel cold :o.I felt quite tearful yesterday and thats just not like me.We changed our IP yesterday and I was to trying to rejig emails and stuff-my brain just wouldnt work!!...I asked DS1 for help for 5 mins and he nearly bit my head off cos he was working from home and doesnt like being interrupted :p:pAnyway, take no notice-its just my age :rotfl:

I am also on a go slow regarding cooking from scratch -dont think anyones noticed yet though ;)- we had minute steak sandwiches yesterday with onions, hardly any washing up.I think we might have a soup night tonight, there's still some turkey stock in the fridge, and some leek/carrot/celery mix I froze last week.
I think Dh is only working till lunchtime,we may get chance to pop and see DGD.DS & I were meant to go yesterday but her mum rang to say she was shattered and could we leave it till today. He did say he was very willing to pick her up for a couple of hours so she could sleep, but that met with a firm refusal, she's not ready for that yet.Fair enough ,DGD is only 3 weeks old,but she has left her with her aunt already so why not her Daddy, who would love the chance.Trouble is patience is not his strong point :rotfl:

Anyway enough rambling from me,better carry on .Hope everyone has a good day xx

  • Morning everyone,

Well, you all seem well ahead of me with your organising today!

I haven't got much to report. I am continuing with my Christmas planning - it takes a lot of organisation to do it all on a budget but its a challenge and I like a challenge!

I have dinner planned for this evening and Im going to iron the washing from yesterday and put that away. Then I am off to my SW class which is £5 but usually great fun.

I have started to look around at some competitions to enter - you have to be in it to win it after all!

    Have good days everyone.
