This thread is interesting because my DH would like to get a dog one day, but I have a massive thing about the hair. I could not cope with it being round my house. So he is on a mission to find a non moulting type of dog - any ideas?? The only ones weve come across so far that dont moult much are 'rat' dogs which he does not want lol
labradoodles and cockapoos are supposed to be non shedders too0 -
i have a hlaf collie/lab.... could knit a jumper every day from what falls off him.
No sooner have you hoovered, there is clumps everywhere..
I also have 5 outdoor rabitts, and 2 of them molt like the dog!!
I have laminate, its worse for hairs, as they constantly move.... buying a carpet leter this month so easier to clean, and get the right color of carpet doesnt show as much eitherPromo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0 -

My house is covered. Our little kitty moults everywhere! She got into DH's underwear drawer once and he picked his pant's up exclaiming "Bl00dy hell, there's more fur on my pants than on the cat!"
thats really made me giggle!!! :rotfl:Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0 -
I have laminate, vinyl and tiles downstairs, so much easier to hoover thru and then mop with bleach (can't to that with carpet!) so much cleaner and always smells fresh which I am extremely paranoid about having 4 cats.
I hate hoovering the stairs, and they always choose about half an hour after I've done it to have a mad fit and send fur flying all over again...Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. Labradoodle could be a good one. Just looked at some pics of cockapoos, they are cute!0 -
I have to admit to shedding more hair then my cocker spaniel - bathroom and bedroom floor coated daily and the shower and sink need unblocking weekly0

Yeah thats the thing - I moult a lot of hair myself lol But I guess its one of those things I can deal with my own hair but no one elses? And my hair mainly moults on my coat or top or bedroom floor where I brush my hair, but not all over the couch or sofa! Mind you it theres quite a lot in my car...
I just showed DH some pics of labradoodles and cockapoos and he liked both of them so thats good.0 -
2 cats 1 dog and a teenager.. paranoid my home smells..
but had a compliment from a builder a few weeks back who said my house didnt smell of smelly pets, either he was being very nice or telling the truth.
i admit i do have the smelly plugin's but have fur everywhere... and i have long hair so that is everywhere too..
but then again i have a thing about dust, leave it, it protects surfaces0
