Do you still manage to get from Reading to Hull 4 hours quicker then by train then?

You come across as the font of all motoring knowledge yet you refuse to answer me.

You were already answered. If you choose to ignore that then that is up to you but I have answered your question in the other thread where I stated that I used to leave Reading station around teatime and once missed the Doncaster to Hull train at 11pm and also that as a wagon driver I did Howden to Reading in a speed limited truck many times a month in 4hrs..

    Oh really.
How can you assume that you are correct when you can't even remember how many points that you've been given for motoring offences.

Are you simple? Did you actually understand what I wrote or were you in such a rush to join in with that other idiot and have a go you just saw what you wanted to?

I said, and I quote: "I did over 100,000 miles a year and as high as 150,000 some years as a lorry driver driving all over the UK and never got any points. "

How does that make what I said incorrect? The 1.8 million miles was done when I was a truck driver. I got my 3 points when I was 18 in my first year of driving for doing 56 in a 40MPH limit on the A1079 as you come into York at 7am on a Sunday morning where I was caught by a copper with a speedgun who was hiding behind a tree. This was a full 3 years before the age you were allowed to even apply for a HGV provisional licence and 4 years before I became one.

Therefore I had 3 points on my licence and after the points had expired 3 years later, a year before I got my HGV, did over 1.8 million miles with no points between then and now.

Is that clear enough for you or do I have to get some crayons and draw you a picture?

And you also made the following two statements did you not?

I've driven roughly the equivalent mileage of two lifetimes of an average motorist both points and accident free.

I got my 3 points when I was 18 in my first year of driving for doing 56 in a 40MPH limit.

Only one of them can be correct, hence the other one must be wrong.
