FYI there is a problem on the Sony Freeview TV's where on the screen while watching freeview you will see what looks like vertical bars from left to right especially when the screen is dark.
I have the 32" version and didnt know about the bars until I read it on a DVD forum. I wish I hadnt as they now annoy me. It is a fault and will be covered under warranty. Something to do with the tuner.0 -
i puchased the sony 32dx100 model (100hz, 32 inch, freeview) 4 months ago. no problems yet, its a great tv. have you always had the problem or did it occur later on?0

I think it may just be on the 50hz models. If you watch the TV in digital when a advert or even a programme shows a dark seen (best at night) look out for bars, sometimes it worse than others.
I have had other problems like the on/off switch not catching properly. sound but no picture, colour green coming in from the left and right all intermittent and seems to be ok now apart from the bars and switch.0 -

if you mean the original post for the sony- add it to basket and it tells you whether in stock - as you have to punch in a postcode- guess it looks at the most local distribution centre for you
