mornign all, or should i say afternoon (feels like it LOL).

Hit Norwich store at 5 to 8 and were abt 20-30 people waiting for doors to open. all very civilised apart for the odd few people and tut tut to who ever it was taking toys out f other peoples trollys. got in and everyone went straight for the lego so the shelves were bare of that in the first 5 mins nobody really interested in the big displays and palletts they had set out everyone went for the normal toy isles. managed to get vtech laptop and vtech camera each for my 2 and got lots of little bits all 6 nehews & neices sorted and pressies for relatives to give my 3 (would never dream of taking my nana to the toy sale way too brutal for her) all in spent £200 but £85 of that for other people so abt £115 was mine but xmas now sorted.

Norwich still had some vetech bits laptops kidiminiz pleanty of the ittle petshop sets zoobles moshis blister packs of moshlings etc andloads of the pallett stuff like mickeys, ride ons, easles, hello kitty etc. But if you are after cameras, lego, or the usual toy isle stuff its prob all gone now as when i came out at 9.20ish it was starting to get very busy.

HTH and goos luck all hope you get what you want x x x

Which one did you go to in the end??? I went to longwater managed to get lots of different lego sets, the one and only small box of pink lego, some leap frog toys, rapunzel, operation, frustration, winnie the pooh duplo and more!!! quite impressed with it. Got there 740 and there was about 10 people in front of us - my mum nearly got bashed by a mad woman & her trolley before even getting in the store. All seemed quite civilised, no pushing or shoving. Have to pop to city again this afty told him I need to go carpet shopping!!! (good excuse to happen to pop into pound lane and see what they have to offer!)
  • Fully stocked at my local this morning and they were still bringing out more. I had asked if they were to bring out any baby annabelle, which was a no so I picked up a singamajig, peppa pig fuzzy felts and a charley bear toy.
    Comping wishlist for 2017
    1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuff

Well I didn't have a choice but to take the kids along, otherwise I would've missed it. I explained we'll post them to father christmas and he will give them to children that have been good at christmas. My kids accepted it and hopefully will soon forget what I bought. They are still young and still believe in Father Christmas.

I love this site but I get really mad when people have to make nasty comments for no reason, dont feel you have to justify yourself as to why you had to take the kiddies, there will be plenty sparkle and magic christmas morning to go round twice!x ;)
  • Rugby store was pretty reasonable at 9.15, staff re-stocking shelves constantly so only a few gaps, lots of ends of ailses filled plus big things in other areas. didn't get zhu zhu babies and no space for them either so possibly don't stock them, got games, lego - loads left, hots wheels, fireman sam stuff although wanted officer steel and couldn't find him. some prices have definitely been inflated, got the FS comvertible from Argos in 30% off and paid £6.99 a couple of weeks ago, today wass £7.49 half price......

If that's aimed at me, it wasn't a nasty comment.

I went in the night before to see what they had and make a list and was very glad I did! I got there at 6.55am and the doors were open and everyone was inside with their trollies piled high! I wasn't very happy as in the past week I'd asked 3 different staff members if they were opening early and was told no (the tannoys were saying that the tills weren't going to be open until 7am though). I was in and out by 7.10am. Got most of the bits I was after although I couldn't find any gold moshi tins or squinkie gumball sets (don't think they stocked them though because they weren't there the night before).

    I managed to get:
    Monster High Doll,
    zhu zhu puppies,
    small moshling cuddly,
    sylvanian windmill,
    frustration,
    cars 2 diescast,
    ben 10 figures,
    moshi card tin,
    moshi blister pack,
    large squinkie packs,
small lego pirates of the caribbean,
small nerf gun and extra bullets,
    Barbie Charm school.

I'm sure there was more but I can't remember what now!

I saw Mickey Mouse and Buzz Lightyears. This was at Cheshire Oaks, I also did the Upton store which by 7.25am looked as if it had been ransacked!

Trying to get through the aisles (just me, no trolley/basket) at Cheshire Oaks was ridiculous! It was jam packed, you couldn't move...rather annoyed at one woman who left her trolley at the top end of aisle right in the middle and then was walking off to grab stuff whilst the trolley was stopping everyone else from getting in there!

Exactly the same price as the 1/2 price off at Sains so not half price at all when you can get it off amazon for 1/2 price anyway:D

Just some ideas, keep checking and don't forget the 342 would work out even cheaper:D
