went at 1030 last night to lincoln - hardly anyone there - filled my trolley and 3/4 way through there were loads of people but got to the checkout at 10 to midnight had a chat with a couple of fellow shoppers - then at midnight the staff starting putting things through the tills - full boot and home I came - am now sorting through things properly - some things are not as much of a bargain as you first think - items inflated prices to start with but the half price made them reasonable - few things I will be returning but will wait for the mayhem to die down0

Hello all, I went to the solihull branch at around.8.30.It was busy but civilised,( apart from the usual few greedy ones with several trolleys) and i got an adequate amount of treats for my son and grandsons :)I got a small amount of lego, nerf gun, transformer masks, hot wheel cars etc.Really grateful to have these and hope everyone gets something for their little people.“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. Your really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” Lucille Ball.0

I bought this and was a bit dubious that it was going to be full price as SEL hadn't been reduced. Took the chance as the signs said all toys and it scanned at half price.
The lego franchesco extreme build - I bought this today along with a lot more things for my 2 sons, so I didnt notice until I got home that I have been charged full price
In the Wrexham store I was there before opening so straight in at 7 and lots of stock, but the toys have all been moved to the back of the store not where they were last year.
There was 4 mickeys left this morning but this was 7:30am nobody had spotted them as they were on a side aisle!
But no toy story toys (glow in the dark buzz and a bullseye) which my son wanted most! If anybody spots any please let me know.
Thanks :beer:0 -
Don't know about anyone else, but this year doesn't seem to be as exciting or successfull for me as the previous 2 years. Maybe I am just a bit lost :-\
But anyway, went to the nearest biggest store to me (Walthamstow), they didn't have anything I was after, but did notice the huge tin of play dough stuff for £9.99, hello kitty plush, barbies, moon dough, dolls house, role play kitchens, quite a bit of peppa pig toys (going quick) and loads of the younger baby toys.
They was restocking when I was leaving.0 -
I really hope theres some left when I finish work today!! was hoping for the mickey mouse - wouldn't spend £70 on that one but £35 is a bit more reasonable!0

Went to Leeds white rose for opening this morning and i have to say i was quite dissapointed with the range there to say its a big store. Mainly had pre school type toys, not much lego, no toy story items so trekked upto moortown store. To say its a smaller store it had equally as good a stock as white rose. Again no decent lego or toy story items. Sooooo then i went to greengates store again as the other 2 almost identical items in the shop.
Has anyone seen any harry potter lego or the lego creator stuff in stores?

In for 7am with two other people so managed to get most of what we want. A balance between getting a half price Christmas or double the toys
Bought a few extra Lego sets for birthdays as well, so getting sorted while the price is right. That said, some of the toys at half price are still overpriced! The lego franchesco extreme build - I bought this today along with a lot more things for my 2 sons, so I didnt notice until I got home that I have been charged full price
The Francheso wasn't reduced in the system due to an error, should be sorted now from what they said this morning (it appears on the posters so should be in the sale!).
Good luck - I visited three stores and in one they were bringing in pallet loads to restock (though much of the stuff went as soon as it hit the shelves!).

Went to York - about 30 people queuing outside just before 8. Was reasonably civilised although too much stuff in the aisles for people to fit trolleys in. I was only after stocking presents so abandoned trolley, got basket and started again! Found a good bargain on small Hello Kitty beanies - priced at £2.50 but went through at 72p
Also kept finding abandoned/hidden Lego all over the store - Ninja stuff near the whisky was my favourite :rotfl:
There were announcements about only being allowed up to 6 of one toy - don't know if this was being adhered to or not. Mostly people seemed to be buying just for themselves but some did seem to be buying for the sake of it tbh.
I got back to the car and looked at what I had, took some back and went and got another Hello Kitty Beanie0
