Hi all, sorry if this has already been posted as I haven't been able to read entire thread, but I've just got an email to say the 1/2 price sale is now online. ETA: Selected lines only but having a nose now...

I have been to the white rose 9wasn't impressed for it's size), Colton which was ok for it's size but didn't have what I wanted and the new wakefield one. The had quite a bit left and they we're stocking shelves but I only wanted hello kitty things and couldn't see any.

They did have lots of lego though but I didn't look to see what kind it was because my little boy is a bit young for it yet.

Smyth's had this is yesterday at 16.99. Not half price but best price I've seen for it, my niece wants it.

The last 2 items had hugely inflated RRP's and I think I probably paid around what they are actually worth at half price, but got them to put away for birthdays as my boys will love them.

Popped into Neston Sainsburies an hour ago and although they stock about 15 lines of toys (if that!) they had a shelf full of cars 2 lego sets down to £7 (3 different types - tokyo pitstop etc). They also had plenty of the Sylvanian (? windmills - didn't look too closely) at £25.

Glad I don't work for customer services as I suspect they are going to be busy over the next week!!!

On your list also the hogwarts game is only £2.50 more on the amazon site so nowhere near half price really;)

I went to the Bolton Store this morning and it was great, opened at 7am and got everything I wanted. There was loads left on the shelves and plenty in the back according to the staff who were fantastic with helping people :j
