I totally agree "commitments" or not it's hardly like buying half price lego is essential to life really is it? Personally I wouldn't want to upset the karma fairy or actually stoop to the lows that the ebay profiteers do either.

I dont think this is half as bad as the pushers, greed, basket stealers and ebayer profiteers to be honest.

It's a matter of opinions anyway. Let's get back on track
  • There was only me and 1 other lady last year,it was bliss!

to be honest i'm a little anxious about going as i am pregnant and scared i will be pushed and shoved etc, i'm only 21 weeks so baby is still well protected, it's awful to think people can't act civilized :(

I agree there. It's horrible to have to think this way, but it does see3m like 80% of the worlds population are morons.

I'm sure you'll be okay, I think people are getting images in their heads like the toy store scene in Jingle All The Way :rotfl:
  • to the people that have asked, as ive said previously its NOT online. i emailed them and they replied cornfirming its instore only
    **Waiting for a BIG win!**

I agree the ebayers were there last year and OMG they had lost their manners, they just piled and piled, they had a strategy, one shopping trolley filled to the brim, someone takes it to the checkout they stay behind and get more and so on....

Our toy sale initially was staggered, there was a lull where everyone just wandered around looking aimless for a while whilst more toys arrived..... keeping a very close eye on the toy aisle but wandering not too far off:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yes that and stealing out of somebody else's trolley tomorrow.

    :(

Some people did that to me last year, looked about to get other toys, went to put them in the trolley and the lego had gone:eek: told OH and he kept hold of the trolley from then on practically leaning across the top of it to prevent it happening again:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Last year i was about 18 weeks pregnant and some mouthy rude kid (about 8) rammed shoved his mums trolley and it went straight into my bump. I was in agony for days and ended up in hospital. Never even got an apology but the staff were lovely.

I am going tomorrow with my 5year old and 6 month old in her pram and ill knock rude little kids out the way! (ill leave DD by the halloween stuff - she loves it and its at the end of the toy aisle - so she doesnt get in anyones way)

I went to the Wigan store last year and it was all very civilised. Loads of stuff left and def no pushing, shoving, stealing or hiding.
