Sainsburys toy sale (merged)

Just found out that a branch near me that usually opens at 7am is opening at 6am tomorrow.

Have only ever visited the Dundee store, and whilst the selection was fairly small, I got plenty!

Last year I got either baby annabell or chou chou (cant remember which) in the Braehead store, They also had another doll that came with a pony, it was quite big and again it was either annabell or chou chou

This year I dont know what store to go to, We went to the EK store last year and it was empty so we managed to get loads of lego for my ds but they had no girl toys for dd whereas Braehead had loads of girls toys but none lego left but it was about 12pm ish so maybe if I get there as soon as i drop the kids at school it would be ok?

Did anyone go to the Braehead store early in the morning? What was it like?

I was at braehead last year just after 9am and it wasn't too bad tbh. I knew what I was in for so just grabbed what I needed and left. I went in today to scope out what I was wanting and they have added an extra few aisles of toys stock for the sale. Dont know if Darnely will have a good selection also.

Hi. I hit longwater and pound lane last yr longwater not great even early on and I've been in today to look about and lots of things already gone/removed no Moshi or nerf. Last yr i found pound lane much bigger and better they had 3 or 4 isles of toys and loads of big stuff on ends of isles so I will be going there first. The one near the bus station has almost nothing as I don't thnk they normally stock toys HTH

Does anyone know if the whitley bay store has a decent toy selection or if there is anywhere near northumberland? There is one at cramlington but the last time I was in they didn't have a toy department.

Just been to my local and there is lots of toys being put out. I noticed a few toys had been reduced to half price such as the barbie puppy pool, do you think these will go half price again tomorrow or is that just wishful thinking?

Thanks for replying. I live literally up the road from longwater so will probably go there first as I dont need mounds of things (havent got kids myself yet) just need to get newphews and neices things.

There toy section is much improved since they did there refurb so i hoping there going to restock a lot of things tonight. May pop in before closing and see if they have much.

Finally got through to the bamber bridge store, young lady confirmed sale on tommorrow and normal opening time of 7am.
