coz of the raw egg element im not sure how old they can be before its not a risk as such?
Do you not heat them before serving? In which case the eg would cook? Theyll be fine anyway.. esp if bought ones theyll most likely used eggs from battery chooks which are vaccinated.Pernicious wrote: »Sorry to have missed it - a belated happy birthday to Toots! _party_ All those pictures of cakes have given me a craving for the sugary stuff  Must resist...

The biggest problem is the kitchen cabinets which are at awkward angles and a horrible blue colour, with the handles falling off! We can't really afford to do more than a patch up job and we don't particularly want to spend a lot either as the minute we can afford to we will be buying a bigger place. That could be a few years away though so we want it nice in the meantime.
Try the Screwfix catalogue. They do replacement doors/handles. Then you could prime and paint the outside of the carcasses themselves, if they aren't plain white already.
Or, depending on how small a kitchen you are talking about
(my old one was 240cm long on the longest wall (120cm on the opposite) and 180cm wide (120cm on the narrowest) - that's two appliances and a sink across and just enough room for an oven on the opposite side - as long as you didn't open the fridge, dishwasher, wall unit or kitchen door at the same time as wanting to cook something),
you could pop into IKEA and get a couple of wall cupboards, as they are far more noticeable when they are nice.
According to my old neighbour, not counting the appliances, she spent about £300 on her kitchen and worktops, flooring and decoration in IKEA. And it looked like a show home.
I spent about a fiver on some brackets and used a discarded wall cupboard, an offcut of worktop from a skip and half a tin of sugared almond pink paint left downstairs by the bins. Along with £15 on a hanging pot rack and £1.50 on a magnetic knife rack. Mine didn't look like a show kitchen, but it was a whole lot easier to cook in there.
Now I have a new house and a new kitchen.
That looks like a bombsite from where Minion made a mess this morning
She still hasn't done her room, either.  :mad:I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Muso - I told you someone smarter would be along!
I think Dusty means a bit like this.... but if you folded the curtain along the top and put a seam, you could thread them onto a curtain wire, removing the need for hooks, poles etc. The curtain wire loops could just be screwed in at each side....
Sorry I couldnt find a better pic xSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Seeing as I've seen her use the tray by the loo and then try and reach up to operate the flush, I think she's after her own ensuite, actually
Got the whole of the garden as well. But seems to wish to do it over the shower drain. She's far too clever by half.
I am cold today. I might even have to put some socks on
