Thanks for all the kitchen ideas guys! I like the idea of the curtains but I think if we went for that we would have to do the high level cabinets with curtains and keep doors on the ground level ones to stop DD getting in them! Definitely something to think about!

Seeing as I've seen her use the tray by the loo and then try and reach up to operate the flush, I think she's after her own ensuite, actually :)

Anyroad, I've done all the washing up from the weekend, put away a couple of batches of laundry, sold some stuff at a vintage fair and donated 3 bags full of stuff that hasn't sold to the local charity, rerouted a book to me mate and posted 2 ebay parcels.

    Have a great evening.

congratulations on the weight loss raphanius.

Well Jo, how was it for you, lol?

;) Ive had better.... but I was interrupted by the kids.... typical... :rotfl:

Packed some more stuff away, most of my clothes are gone, filled some baskets with toiletries and filled a bag for the bin as well as a bag for my sister.

My room is the fullest room, so my plan is if I pack it up today then Im ready to start dismantling tomorrow.

Anyway, I was interrupted by a phone call from the school as I hadnt been to collect DS!!

To be fair, he was supposed to have craft club - however he was told last week there wouldnt be any this week... and he didnt.. It was only when I didnt appear, he realised he hadnt told me.

Anyway - children are home, one lonely chicken breast from the freezer has been casseroled, with a lonely potato, a single carrot and a bendy parsnip...! Im a bit apprehensive about the result, but we shall wait and see. There were also some little ciabatta bread rolls in the freezer so they are being used up too. For not a lot of food, it seems to have made a large vat of casserole... Im hoping it neither boils over, or simmers away to nothing...

Anyway, I have also taken out my last two pots of freezer surprise and I think one of them is soup. I think little one will be taking a food flask with him to school tomorrow - he will love it, soup and a ham sandwich :D

    Anyway, back to packing....

Kitchen's been done, or all that's needed, apart from dusting/dewebbing the top corners; I'll ask Mr LW to put the duster-onna-stick round later, as he can reach the bit above the cooker and the fridge=freezer without standing to the step-stool.;) It won't take him five minutes to do.:o

Dins tonight is the 2nd installment of the moussaka I made yesterday (or as Mr LW put it: "Moussaka: The Sequel":rotfl:) followed by blackberry'n'apple crumble (apples from Woughton, blackberries from down by the canal in Campbell Park:D) so I don't need to do any cooking tonight, for which I'm thankful.:o

Still can't kick the BD out entirely; wondering if the darker evenings are making it worse, as I have a tendency towards SAD.

Good afternoon all, hope you are all well.
I tidied away some clothes earlier and hoovered through downstairs.
Went to work and the funeral, then back up the school for DD. I thought it was parent's evening tonight but it is tomorrow.
Came back and made pie, chips onion rings peas and onion gravy.......feel stuffed now!!
I was freezing earlier so put the heating on............after having food and it now being nice and warm, I feel like I could sleep!!!
Going to have 5 for my food to settle and see what I can get done............xx

have just remade the bed, and washed my jarmies this morning so might well put them on in a bit and make myself all toasty, it is chilly isnt it? Think I'm going to call it a day on the cleaning front, have definitely done enough today.
