Well you can tell it's Monday morning in the witch household
DD2 wouldn't get out of bed, now her and DD1 and arguing over something :(
One of the DC's has peed on the bathroom floor - I feel your pain JOJO
Now DD1 has just shouted down the stairs that DC5 has peed in the laundry basket
There's a litter tray in the bathroom and 2 downstairs!!

DW unloaded, reloaded, finished is now on a cleaning cycle.
Forgot to bring the washing in last night so have to wait for that to dry before hanging the next lot out (confirmed by DD1 who's P.E top is on the line:o) and washing the laundry bin
I have a list of things to do which all have to wait 'til DD1 is home to help. Her reward will be me helping her bake "nice things" for her to take to school to feed her boyfriend ;) That boy is spoilt but he is lovely most of the time :)

  • Good Morning All

Feel much more positive this morning! I have just taken my pile of tablets and in 10 minutes will go and get washed and dressed - a huge task in itself as I need to wash my hair or I could be mistaken for a mop. I really miss having a shower - only a few more days until stitches can come out!

one of the stitches started to ooze blood last night but think it is just because it is so bruised - gross I know - sorry.....

Have fed the cat and opened the patio doors in case she feels the desire to go out.... last night she would not even venture out when I was out side too.

Right....at 5 past I am going to do HHA (half hour activity - not sure how long wash and hair wash will take!!)

Good morning everyone.... anyone remember me?
I need to get back into this flylady malarky, house is a pit and not getting any better.
I'm going to go by my own list this week, starting at the top and clearing and decluttering as I go.

Going to go get some breakfast, then make a start on my bedroom which is the major dumping ground here.

  • Morning everyone! Lost the will with flying last week but I'm back in this week. I've got a very poorly toddler who is content to just sit on the sofa watching cbeebies so I should be able to get plenty done.

We're currently in the process of tarting up the kitchen so todays tasks should help nicely. Cleared the tops of all the cabinets and wiped them down yesterday in order to get to the ceiling to paint it. I have never seen so much grease in all my life! and I used to work in pub kitchens!

If anybodys got any tips for getting the life back into a 15 year old kitchen on a budget I'd be glad to hear them!

    Morning all

Feeling bleurgh, I've started a cold and had DS3 in our bed most of the night coughing and wheezing. He is brighter this morning but I'm keeping him home as I know he didn't get much sleep as I didn't either. He has done the English work he would have done in school this morning so later we will do his spellings and some maths in a workbook plus his reading and I'll take it all up at consultation time.

I've done all the tidying and put the DW on. Now I've eaten I'll find some parrots and make a start on the hoovering and wash the wool throw which was in the way of DS3's nosebleed yesterday.

Muso - kitchen in our old house we painted the cupboards (they were dark solid wood) and bleached the floor boards and scrubbed the old sand coloured quarries. I made some roman blinds out of bright fabric and a plate rack on the wall gave a nice feel too. I loved that kitchen. What are you starting with.

  • Dustykitten We're starting with a very small kitchen, which is good in terms of keeping costs down at least! We're getting new oven, hob and hood put in which should make a big difference and we can replace the vinyl for less than £100. The biggest problem is the kitchen cabinets which are at awkward angles and a horrible blue colour, with the handles falling off! We can't really afford to do more than a patch up job and we don't particularly want to spend a lot either as the minute we can afford to we will be buying a bigger place. That could be a few years away though so we want it nice in the meantime.
  • Off again to do another HHC.... see you in a bit!
