Oops, I haven't updated all weekend
So, there have been some good MSE times and some not so good MSE times this weekend.
Naughty Fresian
- Bought crafty things on Ebay again
- Bought a laptop
as mine is on its way to dying
- Bought Cath Kidston wellies
- Have cleared my Ebay watch list and am trying to avoid searching for things to buy when bored
- Laptop was originally meant to be £530 but was reduced to £449. Used a 10% discount code via my work which took it to £404 and went via Quidco too, so may get £40 back as well. I had £300 in my account to pay for it, so only have £104 to find and it's totally paid off. It's a bargain. Almost
- I used the money I made from Ebay to pay for my wellies, so they were free (and reduced by £16)
PAD/Spends - £136.93
Entertainment - £41
Groceries - £161.88
Savings - £1615.09
There are 25 days until payday

Brilliant thanks! My sis is very good at spending on crafty things, plus she has all the gear to make silver jewellery (and very ice it is too!) so no doubt the spendy elves will be out that dayOne small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

It is the purple Dell that is dyingI've already had to replace the battery pack/power supply which cost over £150 so decided that paying to fix it was throwing good money after bad.
According to the HP website, my order has already been sent (WOO!) so hopefully it will be with me tomorrow. Already they are streets ahead of Dell for service times
My Dell isn't totally goosed, it just isn't performing in the way I need, so I'm sure yours will be fine. Once I've wiped the hard-drive on mine I'm going to try and sell it for parts, so hopefully that will bring me a little extra money too!

I have a HP FF and think is LOVELY. Works really quickly and even after a year it is still very quick, mind you I don't use it for much apart writing and being on line - no games etc.

I have an HP one. I have had it for 20 months now and it is still as good as the day I got it. Little Miss Gap uses it almost every day for games, social networking sites and some homework stuff. I use it occasionally for internet/emails and some work stuff and Mr G uses it often for internet.
Hooray to HP :j:TMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
Mortgage today = £161,690.76

Hi Ff, thanks so much for the recomendation the other day (for cheap tickets to last weeks show at the SECC, the Good Food Show). It was £21.50 on the door  but I only paid £9.50 with itison. This means that my ticket to see AWT and also my hideously expensive portion of scallops were free
Thanks again!'The road to a friends house is never long'0
