*See how I can get my debts down*
    :(

    Welcome to the madness :D

You can get your debts down by just plodding away. For some, it's easy to focus only on debt-busting and to throw every penny at their debts. I can't/don't do that. Having been very focussed on debt-busting when I first had my LBM, eventually I burnt myself out. Now I throw money into a savings account which I will eventually use to repay my loan early, but I have to have a life too. For some people that's fancy clothes/shoes or nights out. For me it tends to be crafting supplies :o It's little things that make you happy and keep you sane.

As long as you have a surplus in your budget to do this then remember to live a little :D

Heyyyy, lovely to see you back on here:j
I did miss you on here - I can't venture on the MFW board....I rent:o:o:o

I've done the same as you and gone from being debt free to splashing out money on a car;) I bought a beautiful blue Peugeot 207 in August...£3k loan and £3k paid up...now wish I'd not put quite so much down up front as I've run my savings down...but less debt I guess:p

I've been ebaying like a crazy woman recently - I do get slightly obsessive with checking watchers and bids...and watching the auctions end is exciting - do I need to get out more??!:rotfl: More listings went on for me last night and 3 tonight. I have one teenage daughter and one very nearly teenage daighter so clothing them and buying Xmas stuff doesn't come cheap.

Anyway, enough waffling - I promise to keep up with your popular diary:D
I really need to sort out a new signature!

    Morning

Two days till payday and the credit card only has £14.67 outstanding on it! I have £26.89 set aside to cover the bill so woo to that! I'll keep PADding into my credit card account though as I have a new laptop to buy and pets to pay for as their dental treatment is due next week.

The first day back at work was a shocker. It's not much fun there at the moment, so I need to sort myself out with a new and improved CV and internal application form soon and start applying for new and exciting things. I spent most of last night curled up on the couch watching telly, but tonight I'm hopefully meeting a friend to go to the movies which will be nice.

No surveys came through for me to do last night, but my £20 Amazon vouchers arrived in my email this morning from Nectar so they've been duly added to my account. Just waiting for another £15 now from two other companies. It's amazing how they trickle in when you're using more than one survey company - it really motivates me to keep going :D
