  • Erm, hello, you pay for pretty much everything, have already repaid about £9k if remember correctly.
you have savings, sensible realistic budgets that allow you to have a life, invest in Radley bags, new laptops......

paying £50 over each month without the lodger is bloomin brilliant!!

I've found it hard getting back on the wagon since Christmas to be honest. This week I used half my weekly points on Day 1 with Dominoes and in the coming week I'm out for dinner tonight and having lunch with Souk on Sunday :j

Once I get back in the way of it I'll be fine, but there's no hiding the fact that I need to exercise now. I have never been to a gym and although I was active as a kid, I'm really not any more and wouldn't know where to start. I normally go home for lunch, but today I'm bringing a sandwich and going for a walk around the block instead.

Good work, Mrs! That's a good idea to have a walk. I've started zumba. For the clumsy and unco-ordinated it is fabulous fun! I laugh so much. I think that does me as much good as the exercise. Swimming is something else I like as you can do it at your own pace. It's nice to have time to think too! I can't do the gym though, I find it really tedious. I've been looking at those Shred dvds everyone on here talks about and am thinking of giving that a shot. Thinking.... :D
One step at a time ;)
  • Thats it, they manage to stop talking about Shred on Hypno's diary and it sneaks up on me here .

I bought a copy 18 months ago and its still in its wrapper :o.

    morning mrs f

as you well know any over payment is good, also now your lodger has gone your esb and gas bills will also drop a little(ours plummeted when ours went)
but it is a time of re adjustment when youve used the cash for treats ,i saved the kids allowance for 6 months and now feel guilty spending it on luxury items like their shoes and winter coats :-(

    on wards and upwards

I like the idea of doing a regular class, or going swimming, but don't have a swimming costume or any exercise clothing :o I think it's going to be long walks for me when the weather improves.
