Hi Peter_the-Piper, couldn't find 4 bags for £10 in Focus. In the end went to B&Q and bought 2 x 150 litres for about £13.00 as they didn't have any offers on either. Don't think hubby would have fancied traipsing around just so I could get an offer on compost. I'm not actually sure where our local nursery is now that the one just down the road from us has closed down. If only I had the money to buy it I'd be in seventh heaven. Hope whoever buys it keeps it as one.
    Did owe £9,951.96

Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

    Owe Virgin [STRIKE]£5,950.00 [/STRIKE]at 0% til June 2009 £3,427.89. Owe HSBC [STRIKE]£5,460.78 [/STRIKE]2.9% til May 2010 £3,703.07. Owe Post Office £1,676.62 at 0% til September 2010

I need to go and get myself some compost tomorrow to plant up my potato seeds which is well overdue. I usually buy my compost from places when it is 3 for £10.00. I thought I read on hear that Focus (?) were doing 4 bags for £10.00. Did I read right and is it worth getting it from there?

Wickes are also doing 4 bags for £10 but stock runs out quickly

    Hi
Can someone tell me which local authorties in or around west yorrkshire sell compost. Our local ones don't and wondered if we could pool resources to find ones that do.

My local council sells bags of compost at the tip - maybe yours does too?

Aldi are selling bags of multipurpose compost, 40 litres, for 1.99, and bags of potting compost, 20 Litres, for 99p. They're also selling bags of bark - 40 litres, also for 1.99 if i remember right. That's about the cheapest i've seen, but then, i've only really compared with tescos (2 2L bags for £3) or Wilkos, i haven't looked at B&Q or other places.

    Hi

Wickes had an offer of 4 X 80L for £10. I think they are 3.69 each
