Yeah Wickes is the best offer around at the moment. I have used 4 bags already this season so now I need to go get some more! Still got a dozen tomatoes to put in final pots yet!

    Hi there

I'd like to buy about 700l of

New Horizons Organic Compost (recommended by Gardening Which)

I've looked on line but can't seem to find much of bargain or even that much availability. Is this one of those products that you just don't get on line?

    Any suggestions gratefully received.

Personally it seems over rated puff
"Organic and peat free multi-purpose compost made from recycled renewable resources of UK origin"

My local council [Hampshire] do the same thing, from garden waste at about £3 ish per bag
"Pro Grow is a fine grade, organic soil conditioner, made from composted garden waste generated by households throughout Hampshire. It is currently being used by many local gardeners and growers including the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens and Arboretum
    http://www.integra.org.uk/about/pub_progrow.html"

Maybe your council does something similar?

Used it for the first time this year, and have been pleased with it, never heard of it before, Ive used Bulrush Seed and young plant compost, Bulrush multi compost, but loads of the Bulrush hanging basket and container compost which has got lots of water retaining green bits in, been well pleased with it and will be getting it again, it is not all clumped together with loads of hard and waste bits in,
Well worth getting. hope this helps a little,
all my tubs and baskets look good on it anyway.

Does anyone remember the free compost Gardeners World were offering a few months back? I need to know, other than Wilkinsons, where I can get the compost from as when I went to Wilkinsons the other day and they have gotten rid of all their gardening stuff to make way for their Christmas stuff. I only have until Monday to get it.
