Hey Susan, I just wanted to pop in and give you a virtual hug. I've been thinking of you and Alan every day recently - I keep typing and deleting, seems words are so inadequate to try and give comfort to how you are feeling so I'm just sending love and hugs xxFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

It's a shame that such sad news has brought me out of years of lurking on your thread:o:o but I just want to wish you all the best for Friday. Although you will have loadsa friends and family with you on the day, I know from experience it can feel very lonely sometimes, but just remember that Alan is with you and always will be. What you shared was an unbelievable rollercoaster of a life and you were very lucky you had a double carriage made just for you two. Your love for each other was amazing to read and hopefully the memories will get you through the next few difficult days/weeks/months.
I have always loved to read your thread, so I hope it continues, especially with stories of yours and Alan's life together.
Take care of yourself Susan and I will be thinking of you on Friday.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Can you ask Dr Dragon for a new brain for me too please.have an affliction I call Aesop brain after an accident 7 years ago. gets worse when tired or stressed.
But looks like if Dr Dragon can find something better and cheaper than Dragon software, Beanie and 3Dogs would like it tooI know it will help 3Dogs too.
And by the way 3Dogs, you know how much I love the Geordie Accent! So don't you worry about any speech recognition software not recognising what you are saying! and that goes for posh Kit too......:rotfl: :A:A

I often thought of getting some of this talk and type but God knows what it would make of my accent   :rotfl:

Just wanted to let you know I`m still thinking about you 3Dogs and I hope that you are taking it easy and getting your rest.
This coming week will be tough but its a time to remember all the fantastic things that you have done together and the wonderful love that you shared...Alan is always with you in memories and thoughts and that will give you so much strength.
Don`t forget plenty of fresh air too...its mother natures best medicine you know.
Take care Sweetheart

Hello Dragon, I don't want to hijack this thread but I was a Dragon software user for a couple of years and I still test this sort of thing for a disability charity. I was bought it for work and you have put a bit of time in to train it, and although it can make you want to throw a brick through the computer it can be a lifesaver. There is nothing else that works as well imho.
I am happy to say that I no longer need it thanks to a wonderful book I read that helped me cure myself of the chronic RSI I had, do PM me if you want to know any more, I don't want to clog up the thread.
3Dogs I think of you every day, lots of love x:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0 -

ah go away Man, it's going to be fine, don't worry about it, just *put it on the computer and I'm sure it will be allright. If not you can go down to the town and get your money back
I love the Geordie accent and the Geordie speak. When we went to America with my in laws and future to be nephew in law, we went to an American Supermarket and the future to be nephew in law (he was proposing while we were out there), said to the cashier
"Alreet? How's it gannin?"
Let's just say we had to translate to the poor woman! :rotfl:
and no, I am not Geordie.... have a Geordie Fiance, so after 13 + years am used to the Geordie language
*actually "hoy" means to throw - I love this word0 -

I think you will find 3Dogs will say nobody hijacks or clogs up her thread
she welcomes everybody to her diary, all friends with useful information that others can benefit from.
it is good that you can give an expert opinion on Dragon software, I have friends who use it and highly recommend it.
the book about RSI, do you think it works for those with arthritis and other afflictions? Have a friend that has something else wrong with her hands, and this might help her? I get severe RSI if I don't use the keyboard properly. Been typing for over 30 years, so eventually developed it.
ps what is the book?0
