Susan, I haven't been on MSE for a while, but you and Alan have always been in my thoughts. I was so very sorry to hear your terrible news about Alan. I know I can't say anything that will ease what you are feelng, but I hope you can take comfort from knowing he is at peace and no longer in pain.
The strength you both showed on this terrible journey was truly admirable, and I hope you can find the same strength to help you get through the coming days, weeks and months. Still thinking of you. xxGwrys yn Kernow! :j0 -
Susan, I have noticed that you have been logged in this evening reading your diary. I do hope that your family are with you now and that you are as ok as you can be. As always sending lots of love and hugs to you and your family, and don't forget we're here if you need us at any time xxxA clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here
Any offence is not intentional, I'm really quite harmless0 -
Hi Susan
Hope that you are spending time with your brother just now. He'll be able to help you and support you through the days leading up to Alans send off. Not an easy task I know, but at least you and Alan did manage to talk this matter through so that will no doubt be a great help.
For some reason when I heard the news my heart and mind went to my favourite place. Collingwood memorial Tynemouth. I always visit there on my first day home. Why I go there I do not know. I sit and look out over the tyne and get so choked up and have a cry, say a prayer and think of my late dad :A
My next visit is August 13th I'll go through the same motions but this time there will be 2 prayers said, one for dad and one for Alan :AThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
