It had been raining all night and still was this morning so we didn't rush up to go to the car boot
However, rather than stay indoors for another day, Alan forced himself to get up and we went down about 10.30am, but all he could manage was a slow walk around the indoor market. Couldn't even be bothered to have a cuppa so, after filling up at Tosco garage using wombled 10p off per litre coupon
, we came straight home
Mr 3Dogs is so so tired and still has that pain on his right front/side. He did stay up to watch most of the Jubilee River Pageant and had a ready meal korma and rice, but then had to go to bed for a sleep about an hour ago. He has felt all around the area but no tender spots, and says it feels more muscle-based possibly. I did ask if he wanted me to ring the District Nurse but he didn't want to spoil their weekend
He did say last night that not getting out was getting him down and it worried him that he wouldn't feel better than thisThis was why he forced himself out today and struggled round the market. His arms are aching with the strain of using the crutches and he is feeling it much more effort to get about
We hope to go into the town centre tomorrow for the Jubilee Party from noon, especially as our friend, s/world consultant, is playing in her band and we really want to surprise her. However, he is going to use his seated-walker so he can sit when he needs to. Hope the weather is better than today
Hope everyone else is enjoying the Jubilee celebrations in your area ............ or at least having a nice long weekendMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Afternoon guys - mixed bag of weather here today with rain, sun, warm, cold, more rain
I'd seen on FB that our friend/s/world consultant and her OH was playing in their band at the Jubilee Party in our town centre so we went to see them. Tried to get there for the start as the Mayor was opening the party at 12.10 with God Save the Queen, but we just missed that and her band had just started. We stood watching them do some great rock songs which we both loved. I nipped back to the car wwith our coats as it was so warm, but it did get colder and then a quick shower, but mainly dry, so it was a lovely atmosphere. We saw a few S/World members from class who were trilled to see Alan and there were a few tears shed, and we then had a chat with consultant when the band finished
Alan was ker-nackered by this time so we didn't get to look around the stalls but it was still a lovely trip out. We came straight home and Alan went straight to bed. The rain seems to have mainly kept away so far so I hope the rest of the party goes well, as it is on till 6pmMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
