yay to wet room 3dogs :T

Uhoh alan, blanket baths for you until it is installed....:rotfl:

Lady at work has not felt upto making any of the calls I suggested to her, so have offered to go round on Monday to help her make them. I explained she may be able to get help with handles in bathroom etc and she hasn't asked our council for any of that either, so hoepfully will make 2 calls on Monday before she has to go to work.

So glad to hear that the benefits are all sorted now, one less thing for you to worry about.

Hope they can sort the car quickly too.

Mandy most of what I grow is the early type of potatoe + broad bean, their outside, the rest is on the kitchen window, Derbyshire's been the same as Yorkshire, tell us we've got a drought and then it rain's everyday since:eek:

Hope the wetroom get's done quickly, but it's not nice going without a shower.

it went ok. I couldn't answer one of the questions as I didn't know how to work it out! the paper I had, didn't have all the answers, it would say, if they give the right answer 3points.

the ladies were great, one was really switched on, and knew what she was doing, told her she should be a teacher. she said she lacked self confidence and language was a problem. I said language wasn't and she she should give it a go. The nice thing she offered to help one of the other ladies if she doesn't pass her exam :A

    I bet she will

Well, we popped along and ordered the car :j :j When sorting out what model we were going for, we based it on delivery dates, which were from 1st June onwards as just from yesterday the dates had advanced. Then just as we were settling for the car we wanted with delivery on 6th June, the salesman discovered a better model showing as available from 26th April   We could have that one in silver or cafe latte bronze but a higher deposit  so we had to make some decisions. The colour one wasn't hard to make as we did like the bronzey colour but the higher deposit was tougher. However we had the back money Alan had got plus the DLA which would be paid into his account till we got the car and needed it to be paid over. If we had to wait longer for the car, we'd have to spend more money on the van or buy a cheap car to get us through, but if we spend money now to get the car earlier we can start getting around, going places, driving in comfort and not worrying about breaking down. No contest really ;);)

So we have ordered a Nissan Qashqai +2 with lots of extras. We have to wait for Alan's DLA being changed from payable to him, to paid to Motability, so it should be ready for us sometime between 4th and 10th May :j :j :j :j

    Dead excited :j :j :j :j
