I say good, but it is chucking it down out there 
We will be going out soon as calling in at the car boot cafe on our way to the hospital. A fellow stall-holder has a buyer calling from London today who mentioned to him last time that he is interested in buying records so we are hoping to see him and offload the thousands Alan still has in one of the units

Thanks Beanie, Dragon, Boult and Mandy :T I couldn't work it out from the letter Beanie but just had another look and it appears that Alan's DLA will be paid weekly on a Wednesday, so, with backpayment going in last Wednesday, there should be a payment tomorrow I think
We got to the hospital at 11am this morning but had to wait until 12 noon to see the consultant, who was delighted with Alan's progress. He said that he was deeply humbled by Alan's attitude and the way we were dealing with his terminal cancer. After examining him, he announced that Alan was his Miracle Man for the way his wound from the abcess had healed so quickly, saying that he'd thought that this wound might not heal up at all or would at least cause big problems. Doc felt that he did not need to make Alan another appointment, but that we should ring one of the specialist nurses if any problems and they would get him in quickly to see to doc. He wished Alan well and said that he would be kept up to date with letters from Palliative doc we are seeing tomorrow
We called at the car boot on the way back for our lunch (all-day breakfast) and, when we got home, there was a message from the garage to ring them. When I did, they said that the car was ready and Motability payments all sorted with DWP, so all sorted for us to pick up the car on Thursday 3rd May :j :j
Really pleased. So, as long as Alan is ok to travel, we will drive down to Portsmouth on 4th or 5th May to spend the Bank Holiday weekend with Kit, Steve & Andy. Then, the following weekend, we will drive up to visit both families on North Tyneside :j :j :j :j Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12 3Dogs'Mam 31-3-13
