I'm still off with my leg, but it is getting better, and the garden's not doing to bad, got pak choi,4 type's of tomatoe, chillie's, broad bean, sunflower and 3 diffrent type's of potatoe growing at the moment. The pear tree is flowering like mad and I should be picking the first of the rhubarb at the end of the month.

The printer problem might be down to a dodgy lead. Also, if you are like mrsp and keep unplugging the USB lead from the printer when you have finished using it, you may have damaged the USB port on the printer. Mrsp broke her printer like that. Mr T were good about it and gave her aa refund. She now has a wireless printer so no more facing about with leads.

Those old Combis are good solid vans.

Had a bit of a panic earlier on. My son phoned and in the course of the conversation he mentioned he had lost his little black Sony camera. Having just sold such an item on eBay, I had to breath a huge sigh of relief when he told me the model number and it urged out to be a different beast altogether.

It certainly is Beanie. When I opened the letter I was praying and the first thing I saw was a leaflet about getting your Raod Tax Disc free as Disabled and I just shouted 'yes' as I knew that they would only put this leaflet in with the award letter if Alan had got the Motability top Rate ;);)

Having fun choosing already. WE had an idea of what we wanted so went to our two local dealerships this afternoon ;);)

It's a wireless printer Pat, but now won't work wireless or USB :( but copier still works which is just as well as I needed that today. The combo is a good van, lots of room too, but it is would need a few jobs for the next MOT in November ;)

  to the camera, glad it wasn't your son's you'd sold on eBay :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi 3dogs and friends!

    Hope all are well!

Good news on the DLA front 3dogs, perfect to replace car and maybe your dear Alan will treat you to a new printer from his back pay! Excellent wound healing by Alan! Hopefully at the next Oncologist appointment you can move forward with his treatment. Secuplast in post, hope it helps.

Patman, Dom insists Pompey are staying up! so no new stadiums for them!!

Well done on the 5lbs Beanie, must be a real encouragement to keep going when you get a result like that!

Hope your leg is getting better Boult, sounds like you are doing well in the garden, germination in Yorkshire seems to be at a standstill, but can't get out there anyway cos it hasn't stopped raining for 4 days! Drought!! Bah!!

Nicks oramorph has been converted to slow release tablets now so am hoping his feet go down and we can resume our normal life, he was quite sickly and sleepy on the liquid.

    Take care everyone

Hiya Mandy, glad Nick's off the oramorph and on the slow-release tablets now and that settles him more and, as you can say, you can both get on with your normal lives. The packet came yesterday thank hun, sorry I forgot to say it had arrived :o Smashing :T

When I read your post out to Alan, I read it to him as 'perfect to replace car and maybe your dear Alan' and then paused before the next bit   :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Nursey came at 10am and the Occ Therapist from housing came at 11am. He took loads of details and checked the bathroom and was horrified that shower tray was porcelain as they are so slippy and dangerous. He said he'd only seen 2 in last 18 months as most have beeb changed. He said that 9 inch step up was rediculous and will arrange for the bathroom to be converted onto a wetroom :T :T He has put it down as top priority due to circumstances. It goes for authorisation next Wednesday and then he will pass drawings to sub-contractors for the work to be done, top of the list :j He has advised us not to use the shower until it is converted due to danger
