Have a safe journey tomorrow, it is funny, every time you talk about going over the bridge, I can see it so clearly, and the platforms, the barriers, etc.0

Hope the journey went smoothly 3Dogs.
Started to update my long-standing blog. Hopefully I can get the blog to the 'much-read' category so I can start blogging for money about products and services.

Evening guys - yes, journey was fine but I definitely prefer First Class
Standard is so cramped after a year of travelling First class
Anyway, went down to see Mam at 4.30 to 6.30 pm. She was a little unsettled when I got there, with her sheet all in a bundle in her hands and she didn't want me to straighten it, but did let me in the end. As I was taking my coat off, she said 'Ahh, how did you find me? How did you know I was here?' I told her that my brother had told me, which seemed to an adequate reply for her and she started to smile, and then giggle. She ate all her dinner and a shape dessert, then had a couple of dunked biscuit with a cup of tea, which she managed to drink holding the cup by herselfWinter Wipe-out was on the telly and she was laughing at them falling in the water, and kept asking 'are those men or woman jumping in the water, they look like they are trying to walk on water'. She thoroughly enjoyed it so I stayed until it finished and she was ok when I left, so it was a good visit
Absolutely ker-nackered though as got no sleep last night and with the travelling and all, so just sat watching Poirot with brother after dinner and just now dragged myself up to bed, and having a little look around MSe for a while. Will be in bed pretty soon thoughMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

didn't want to read and run. Good luck with moving things forward again this year.
sorry to hear about the little dog. Must be very hard to deal with. My OH doesn't 'get' how people can be upset over pets.....
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hi 3Dogs, good to hear you got there safely. Shame about standard class, lets hope for a few more freebies so you can travel first class again
good to hear Mam is well.
We are off to zoo today, have just been making chocolate fairy cakes, boodle biscuits, and baked pizza yesterday. Know DS will get hungry and not paying zoo extortionate prices for a plate of chips.

Hope you've had a great time at the zoo Aesop, very :money: :money: and organised of you with the 'picnic' as it does cost a fortune to eat in these type of places
Had a very tiring day today but it has been fun. I was going to get up early and get to Mr T for it opening to get food for buffet tea for brothers birthday as he asked if we could do that instead of going out for a meal, so I offered to sort it here for him. But, with being so whacked yesterday, I kept ignoring the alarm and, despite Mr 3Dogs ringing me twice during the morning, I didn't get up until noon and when I checked my mobile there was a message from my Sister to say Niece was picking her up from seeing Mam at the home at 1.30pm   so I dived out of bed, got ready and then went straight to Mr T's and whizzed round getting what I needed, with no time to look for 1p items or other bargains, got back and started doing the food.
I did food that me, my Sis and my niece could eat freely on s/world, like s/world chip-style new potatoes, savoury rice, chicken, ham, smoked salmon, quorn sausages, salad, beetroot and had low-fat cheese too and then just added a few pork pies, sausage rolls and a little pizza for the others to eat. Then I did fresh strawberries with quark/mullerlight to go with them, and mini meringues too (low syn;))
They arrived about 1.45 and we then tucked in and everyone enjoyed it, with my niece saying she didn't think she could do a buffet with so much free-foods. She was going to eat a dinner at 6pm when her hubbie got in from work, but was so full she wasn't going to bother. Of course we did have birthday cake, madiera with buttercream topping, but me and niece only had a tiny bit eachI had put a lot out, my brother didn't think it would get eaten, but the table was almost cleared when we finished
Then I gave them all their Christmaas pressies and everyone seemed pleased with them, especially the girls who loved their 'bags of bits & pieces' I always do for them, and always did for my niece and nephew when they were little. They all left when I went down to see Mam at 4.30 pm, but had done the dishes first, so that saved me :j
Mam was really good tonight again, though her chest had been a bit wheezy when Sis there at lunch-time. She ate her dinner and then had a bit of birthday cake with a Shape delight dessert to make it easier to swallow, and she loved that. We sat watching Poirot and she was interested in it, or seemed to be, so I stayed until it finished at 7pm, and the carers where just going to change her and settle her down for the night then
I was going to come on the computer when I got back but just sat down and watched some tv with my brother to relax. I've come upstairs now and just catching up on MSE in bed for a while
Sorry for the long postMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
