Cakes or biscuits for packed lunches - ideas needed

Hello there
I like to include a biscuit or cake in my children's packed lunch but the ones I make don't stand up to being carried about in a box. Long walk to school and lively children means that flapjacks crumble and cakes fall apart. How can I make things that are robust but still appetising?
Thanks for any suggestions or links to previous threads.

Well, my eldest (5.5 and a destroyer of lunchboxes, lol) takes these, and they apparently survive. Think I may even have got the recipe on here -
Banana Muffins
225g self raising flour
100g butter
85g castor sugar
2 medium eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
170ml milk
a pinch of salt
grated zest of 1 lemon
2 bananas
Heat oven to 200°C or Gas Mark 6. Grease 12 muffin tins with butter or place 12 muffin cake cases in a tin.
Melt the butter and leave to cool.
Sieve the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt into a large bowl. Stir in the sugar and lemon zest.
Mash the banana with a fork and add to the flour. Lightly beat the melted butter and milk together and add to the flour.
Add the eggs and stir until just mixed, do not over beat.
Divide the mixture between the tins or cases.
Bake in the centre of the oven for 25 minutes, leave in the tins for 5 minutes then place on a wire rack to cool.
