Evening all
Am totally burned out from a mamoth cleaning session. my dsis and dad are coming for a visit next week and despite their protestations about coming to see me and not the house i am in a frenzy. Dad is a diy freak and there is so much to do here that i know he will move things to fix them so every nook and cranny must be clean or i'll be on edge. anyway if it's really clean then i can relax next week when they are here.
Exdh is showing no signs of going home - he went to visit a friend who is dying last night - he hadn't seen him for aobut three weeks and was shocked at his deterioration over that time. He came back to mine this morning with his sorrows well and truly drowned and went straight to bed - make yourself at home why don't you
dd has kindly invited him over to hers to watch a scary movie to get him out from under my feet.
Two vodka and cokes at the pub watching the liverpool game floored me for a few hours - why do afternoon drinks seem to count double
Right - off to watch Match of The Day and drink some more of my apple alcoshot kit - its a tough job as this stuff is evil but someone has to do it :beer:I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
I have finally finished dyeing my hair so I am off to dry it and then bed!

She used to make it in buckets and once a mouse found its way in to one and drowned - and yes that batch was bottled too - she said it had extra protein in it.   :eek:stefejb wrote:Right - off to watch Match of The Day and drink some more of my apple alcoshot kit - its a tough job as this stuff is evil but someone has to do it :beer:If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape 100 days of sorrow.......Chinese proverb

Reductions here are pathetic, I was in Tescos today and were lucky to get 30p off a £2.50 item with todays date on. Somerfield sometimes ok but never more than 1/3 off apart from if they have loads of one thing, it's a small store and the shelves are always half empty instead of half full. Sainsburys the staff get first pickings of the reductions so not many there either (occasionally get something if my Mam overbuys as she works there)One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -

Thriftlady - such great menu ideas - always looking for tried and tested from More with Less - do you have Countryside chatting and cooking - Amish
 Everyone else that replied yesterday with joy thank you so much - it meant a lot - and in return to thise who asked how:
Start with an op of £10 A month on standing order - you can probably find that amonth - if not maybe £5. Then whenever we had a payrise for inflation or moving up we worked out if we neede any for living and if not it went into the overpayment. If you havben't had it mayb e you don't need it. We still enjoy life - we're just a little OS - as you can tell from our celebration last night
Thanks
