PP - Morrison's in Peckham is rubbish for reductions - Tesco and ASDA on the Old Kent Road can be good if you catch them at the right time, but my favourite strategy these days is mini-supermarkets (Tesco/Sainsburys) in Central London on a Sunday afternoon or very late in the evening on a weekday...

Bloke and I went to a Tesco near St Pauls one weekend and it was soooo cheap 10p for a sandwich which was 3 days in date, loads of great deli foods. No one is around at the weekend in the city so the Tesco's reduce everything and put new fresh stuff back on the shelves on Monday because of the customer.

We live in Blackheath, I get loads of bits from See Woo around the corner, it's a massive Chinese warehouse, worth a look even cheaper than Netto.

It's just around the corner from Asda in Charlton and Sainsbury in Greenwich.

Just another thought, are you coming to the group meet on the 10th? Bloke and I are intending to go.

Evening all, Sorry to hear your news ageandjo. I have just finished work and am a little tired, good shift though I really am enjoying this new job. Not much else to say, OH has done all the ironing, bless him and the children are asleep and I won't be far behind.
    Good night everyone, Smoky. xxxxxx

Old Kent Road - that's the brown one just passed GO isn't it. The cheap one.

Sorry - I absolutely love london. It all means something through books, games, telly etc

    Hello Donny_gal.

Taplady - be careful with that rotavator. I used one once for my dad, think I was about 15, had to have the next day off school I felt so ill. Think it was the vibration that did it. Family still give me stick for having "rotavatitus". Not that they ever mention the large amount of garden I "rotavated"!
