...Did anybody else apply through NHS Discounts? The total bonus was £225 (£200 from Co-op and £25 from NHS Discounts) and I'm just wondering how and when the £25 will be received.

OH did, but no payments have been received yet. OH has applied for this through NHS offer before and (from memory), the "extra" was rolled into one payment into the account.
  • Completion date for me 11th November. Have paid in 4 amounts of £1200 & transferred 2 standing orders across as requested in their T&Cs.

My plan all along has been to transfer all my banking to Coop from LloydsTSB, but I had found a full transfer extremely painful previously, so will transfer direct debits & standing orders individually once they pay me my £200.

No payment amount yet, so maybe I need to wait a little longer. Would be useful to know of anyone who has had bonus amounts, either because 1. it was automatic (so knowing exact dates would be useful), or 2.because they rang & asked where their money was.

Awful, Awful customer service from Coop.

The £1000 overdraft was temporary so I got a letter in Jan saying if you want a formal overdraft give them a ring because my temp overdraft will end on 4th Feb.

So rang them and asked for a formal overdraft, Lady on the phone advised, oh it needs to be authorised. So I said no problem go ahead. She asked how much I wanted and I said £250 and straight away she said oh that's been done. I thought excellent, job done.

Anyway just checked account today and no overdraft and I am overdrawn meaning possible charges. Luckily I had no bills going out till tomorrow otherwise it could have been worse.

Anyway rang CS and asked them what overdraft I had and told me none as £1000 expired.

I explained the situation and she said will setup a overdraft and wont be charged. I said I want to make a formal complaint and she said will credit account £15 for my inconvenience and the previous agent would be retrained or something or other and it was all sorted.

When I asked if I would get some feedback like a call or letter she was like but sir I have credited your account by £15.

So she obviously wasn't going to pass it on to complaints for the previous advisor to get told in her review.

As it then took her 3-4mins to type something up. disgraceful.

same here..see earlier post.. on top of that they are dragging the bonus payment should have been paid at the beggining of this month..
  • the next statement is supposed to the 5th Feb.. still not showing yet..bonus payment could come with it!
  • As many others have already mentioned, the incentive payment will be paid around 4 months after the first payment was made.
My first payment was on 30th November, so I've been told I should receive the incentive at the end of February.
    C'mon you Canaries!!

Checked my records today, and the last time OH applied for this account (through NHS Discounts) the payment was sent by cheque, not paid into the account, but the bonus and "switching" incentive was all paid together in the same cheque.

My intention was to wait for my £200 then switch to First Direct, taking advantage of their £125.00 Switch Offer. However, according to this weeks MSE Newsletter that offer ends this Sunday

Does anyone think I'd be able to start the switch and still get my £200 from Co-op? Or is it best to wait until I have the £200 before switching in case they try not paying me?

I have adhered to the terms and made 3 payments over £800 and switched all my SO's and DD's
