Does anyone have an alternative phone number to 08457 212 212 or the ones listed on saynoto0870. I need to speak to someone, and there is no option for this at all on this number.
    Thanks

Thanks, they both took me to the same automated service. In the end I contacted the number for business users, and they put me through. Person i spoke to said they'd had a problem with the lines, and was just a temporary problem.

looked at my letter today, it says pay in 3 months of £800, completion date 11/11/11 and that £200 will be paid in on the 4th month following completion
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

I suppose they must make money out of these offers, as this is at least the third time that I know of, but, if like me, others intend to close the account as soon as the £200 has been paid in, it seems like a heck of a lot of admin work for them to undertake for those of us who don't intend to keep the account open. They don't even stipulate that you can't have used the "switching" offer before, because OH is now on his second. Seems a bit mad to me, but I'm not complaining, great £400 (£200 x 2) on its way soon :).
  • Letter received confirming the switch on 26 Oct 2011

    Paid in

    £800.00 27 Oct
    £800.00 22 Nov
    £800.00 22 Dec
    £800.00 22 Jan

Here's hoping the 200 will be credited sometime this month

How can a bank charge interest by the minute!

Exactly??..I tried to ask a customer advisor to explain this but he adopted a 'moron attitude' and said I've got to write a letter to Customer Care..I phoned up the next day and this time another customer advisor admitted that Coop has made a mistake and refunded the charges straightaway..
