They give you a date for completion. You should make the first payment then, and make sure its the same every month.

You should receive a letter telling you what the "switching" completion date is. You have to make the £800 payment at some point within the monthly anniversary of that date, so for example if your completion date was 19 January, you'd have to make the £800 payment between the 19 January to 19 February. I pick a date right in the middle of my monthly anniversary date, so that there can be no mistake (ie if you pick a date too close to the 19th a weekend might botch things up, missing that month's date).

I spoke to Customer Services last week and was told my payment date will be approx 24th Jan, my completion date was 24th Oct and I have made 3 payments and had 3 lots of DD's / So's go out of my account

that's a very quick completion date isn't it? Only 10 days from the day the offer went live.

Good to hear that they are paying it 3 months after completion though. Then I can move away from them. Can't stand their website layout :P

Very quick completion date, mine wasn't until the 17th November! So I guess I'll be expecting mine around the 17th Feb by that logic.
Please update if/when you receive the bonus
  • ok so just made my last £800 payment, but STILL my 2 SO's from Lloydstsb havent been transferred over (although they disappeared from lloyds ages ago??) Anyone had similar? Cheers

i spoke to c/service tonight and what do u know ........ they arnt sure which way it is . ie calendar month or completion date ....... i thought wow ..... thats helpful so got them to log the call and put it on the screen notes as to try and cover myself, so i think ill just have to wait and see but cover all options ...... so id play it safe and if need be do a extra payment.

Have just made the 3rd (so hopefully qualifying) payment of £800 into the account. Would be good if someone posts when they get their £200 "switching" incentive. Will do if and when I get mine.

I've just made my 4th payment of £800. I made an extra one in early December to cover both a calender month and a rolling month scenario.

I'll let you know if I get my £200.
  • My completion date was 24th November so I've been making the payments in between then and the end of the month, to cover me for either the calendar/rolling month scenario.

Hope the £200 doesn't take too long as my next hop will be back to nationwide to get my free travel insurance, and need that in time for a hol in May :)
