I rang them too, and in the end got sky+ box for £49, but they still wanted £60 for the installation, so i declined...0

I phoned up just before Xmas as I wanted the Ashes on Sky Sports. I was offered the box for £99 with free installation. I asked if they could do any better and they said no and I was about to put the phone down. I asked if they had any refer-a-friend deals as my Dad is an existing customer and they said they would do the Sky+ for free for me in that case although my Dad wouldn't get any benefit from this.
So that might be worth a try...0 -
Rang them again, and they said they would dome sky multi-room and sky+ for half price (£10) but box was £99, had a think and have decided to wait as sky active is coming soon and have heard there are gonna be a few deals on sky+ and hd, so gonna hang on for a month or so....0

I phoned to drop the movies and I asked if I could have the sky plus £49 deal, didn't mention cancellation at all. it was supposed to be fitted yesterday but I think the snow put the fitter off, he's coming tomorrow instead.0

I'm looking to sign up for Sky+ as a new customer so dont have the option of threatening to cancel. Is there really no way of avoiding the £90 box fee and £60 installation fee's??0
