Is where I've been checking over the past few days
Remember most mobile companies are also on Quidco (or similar cashback sites) so remember to go via one of these
Also you can recycle your old phone for a few quid - see Martins feature on this or try GoogleThat's Numberwang!0 -
Thanks for that, that's helpful.
I've also seen the one below, Nokia 6320i £35/month on T-mobile with 500 mins and 200 texts - 12mths free on 12mth contract via cashback. The only problem is it's with the mobile outlet and not sure from other threads how reliable they are with casback. Any advice?

Mobileshop (o2, Three) 11/12 months, e2save (Three) and OSPS (Three) have 10 month free on 12 month contracts. OSPS and e2save also have 12 months free on Virgin.
Don't forget that going through Quidco (or one of the other cashback sites) can get you extra cashback - sometimes equivalent to another months free line rental or more.

I presume the OP is thinking of free months on a 12 month contract. The best I can find and I'm tempted by it myself is LG U300 on Video Talk & Text 350. 11 Months free on 12 month contract 250 minutes free from mobileshop £25 cashback via quidco.com.
Almost totally free over twelve months (you have to pay to send back your vouchers) and mobileshop I think is one of the better ones though read around.
Half the minutes you want, but you may be able to order two?
Beware there are lots of 12 months free on 18 months contracts and they can work out expensive.0 -
Mobileshop also have a Nokia 1600 on o2 400 - 400 mins, 100 texts - £35 per month, 11 months cashback. £25 from Quidco (possibly £30 depending on the number of orders that go through Quidco in the month), therefore £10 (or £5) for the year (plus £10 to transfer your number onto o2, if this is important).

The are many other 12 month deals with Mobile Outlet, Coolnewmobile, phonebox direct, phones2u etc but you need to do your research on the retailers reputation for paying cashback (and look particularly at T&Cs).

I finally opted for this one with Cool New Mobile - hope they are OK.

Hi again HL.
You stated that you weren't bothered about the phone. I don't need a replacement phone, am with 3 at the moment, and was offered the following deals today - both exclude a phone because I told them I don't need one:
Option 1: 500 xnet anytime minutes; 100 texts for £30 per month.
1st 9 mths FREE, Month 10 = £16, Month 11 = £30, Month 12 = £30
Total cost £76; average cost £6.33 per month - and No CASHBACK to worry about.
Option 2: 750 xnet anytime minutes; 150 texts for £40 per month.
1st 9 mths FREE, Month 10 = £40, Month 11 = £40, Month 12 = £40
Total cost £120; average cost £10 per month - and No CASHBACK to worry about.
They are both great deals, but I'm still undecided whether to take a 12-month cashback deal with new phone [with the hassles that cashback can bring] or simply opt for one of these.
Still got a fortnight to decide, so no panic. Just thought I'd share the "no phone upgrade" deals though, as food for thought.0
