is anyone putting there money into ISA? wheres everyone putting there money?
Cash ISA maxed out until April, saving into 2 regular savers at the moment. When they mature in June I'll probably open up another ISA and transfer from the AA this years too as rate drops then.
Who will get all this money is yet to be decided. After that I may open up another couple of regular savers.
I'm also putting away £250 into a sharesave from March next year, and already investing £125 into a similar SIP scheme at work.
Also just opened up a AA Saver account and getting 3.2% in here at the moment, I'm aiming to save any spare cash at the end of the month into here.
I'm also planning on putting 1 months salary into Lloyds TSB as instant access for emergencies, as at the moment I don't leave much in here other than what I'm using for day to day and monthly expenditure and often let it run down close to zero, though I have a overdraft in case of accidentally going into the red but never really needed it for longer than a day so never get charged. :T0 -
Hi All
My savings will go into my mortgage offset account. I am starting off with putting my end of the month wages in there as the begginning of this challenge. Good luck to everyone. Merry Christmas.0 -
I have my budget set out so i am going to be absolute "skint" until i come back from America in April...just got to remember just because current account is very low on funds it means its because its all stashed away in my savings. Just using a post office savings account. I can only dream of ever seeing higher than £15k yet no debts....but here goes!! Bring it on!Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

Hi I'd like to join in, I'd like to try £4000 (which not so coincidentally would leave me debt free:D). I may slide this number up as I will almost certainly be changing job midyear (hopefully for something better paid :jbut we'll see).
Oh and more importantly Merry Christmas!0 -
Please add me and put me down for £6000.
I was doing very well this year until I booked a ski holiday and had some expensive dental work done but I'm hoping to get back on track in the New Year.

Good morning. I am having a quiet day so thought I would come and see how everyone is doing. I am going to try to work out my budget for this today. Going to try and save £300 to £350 per month and then will also be putting any bonus/extras into the account.
The only problem is I am getting very tempted by the online sales. I need to buy some new wellies and that is it. Want to start by saving a little bit on 1 January to get started.

We got £320 for christmas in hard cash! Plus DH received an £89 tax rebate on christmas eve. This will be a fantastic start to our pot.
I am going to start overpaying our mortgage but not sure how to physically pay into it, phone call needed tomorrow. I can't find a sort code or bank account number to transfer it.Mum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.
Keen to live a healthly lifestyle and save money0
