Yes you're right, it's 32 or 64 bits. I had trouble updating a new version of Internet Explorer and the BT guy realised I'd probably downloaded the wrong version as it wouldn't install. I should have clicked on 32 bit.
Silly question time.....how do I get more RAM?0

Total page file size for all drives is 768 MB.
I've running XP with 2Gb of RAM, and have the paging file size set to 1872Mb.
Unless anyone else watching this has a reason not to, you seem to have enough HDD space to increase yours from 768Mb to something higher..... this will increase your Virtual Memory and should relieve you from that error message. If you go into Change, there should be a recommend minimum size at the bottom of the panel. What's that say?0

You buy RAM chips from a Computer Supplier, open up the PC and install them on the Motherboard, either in addition to the ones that are there at the moment, or by removing the current ones and replacing them with the new ones.
A memory manufacturer called Crucial has an online checker where you can enter the details of your PC (or motherboard) and it tells you what's compatible with it. Will post link in next post.0

Thanks for info re expanding RAM. Hate to sound like a wimp, but that's probably a job for a professional. Will get it sorted as soon as I can. Ta.0

mcafee is probably part of the problem, uninstall it, replace with avast free, and switch on windows firewall in control panel

It's highly unlikely that removing temporary files would affect your speed at all.!!

No. it is not. You can do it yourself, but we are not yet at that stage.
You still need to post the logs. We do need to see them.
There are no links in the CCLeaner .txt logs, so you should be fine to open them and then copy and paste the contents here.
 Malwarebytes too.
Only the HijackThis log may present a problem.0
