  • Nothing this morning in my big store I went into yesterday, spoke to the helpful clothing sales assistant she said that they have not had a new delivery overnight or this morning they had been told they would be getting one everyday and the other 2 deliveries came the day before they where to be put out - Will not bother again today as a bit hit and miss when and if they have anything then you have tons of people instore as its Saturday.

It's wrong to say staff are filling their boots at 1 pound per item. :)

its actually 90pence after staff discount.

They were taking bagfulls to cars parked round the back in our store yesterday. Tesco should save all the pretence and send these items directly to the staff shop like Next do.

Have you not read this thread? If you had you'd see that a lot of people are getting fantastic deals, and we dont work for tesco.

Fair enough, if you've not had a great experience at your store, however, I think its a bit rich generalising like that. There are Tesco employees on here who are trying to help, and giving as much info as possible, so there is no pretence.

Incidentally, I dont work for Tesco, Never have, but Christmas will be fantastic this year thanks to them :D
  • i wish people would stop moaning about Tesco staff getting some bargains too...... lets all be honest here, we would do exactly the same too. - well, i would. :)

theres plenty of bargains still out there, and im sure a lot more will come up too. so please can we try and keep this thread a happy one and just report all bargains, with details, and which stores... as this helps everyone out.... moaning about staff doesnt really help.
    - i know its a pain when theres nothing left, and you were looking forward to brabbing a bargain, but surely you can live without that extra t-shirt? - after all you are no worse off than you were before.

plus, working that little lbit harder to find the goodies, makes it that little bit more rewarding. :)

    Happy bargain hunting everyone!

i went to tescos yesterday and what a cat fight, 2 asian girls were just taking all the clothes and putting them in trolleys not even checking sizes then a young male assistant came and told them they could have no more as they were not leaving any for anyone else, someone nearby me said they would be selling them in there own shop, i dont know how true that was but by the different sizes they could be right

And the relevance of their race is...?

i dont think the poster was refering to their race in paticular here... just a general description...(lady, man, large, young couple, asian, chineese, english, polish, smelly, suited-n-booted...... for example) PLEASE can we stop with the petty comments and keep this thread about what its ment to be about!!!

went to the mansfield central store today and whilst there wasn't much I managed to get a cardi :) couldn't believe it when extra 25% came off! apparently a womenswear discount! :D heard an SA say there are still 15 cages full in the warehouse.

however, right mix of staff. one SA was lovely and was chatting away with everyone, however there were at least 2 who were shoving costumers out of the way (including me) to get things for themselves. couldn't work out if they were on a break or not but even if they were I would've been in so much trouble if I'd done that when I worked in a shop!
