i went to Sadly Broke tesco this morning and it was rather pitiful- they had a couple of rails at the bottom of the travellator (SP) and i couldnt be bothered to go and see what they had upstairs
i did manage go to cri33s as well and this was better. Not brilliant but i came away with 2 pairs of trousers/jeans for my dad and a pair of jeans for someone else.
Dont think i'm gonna worry about it too much now. To be honest i CBA to keep going every day to see what rubbish is leftI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Only mens trousers when I went and that was gone quite quick. People were waiting around for more rails to come out. Sa wouldn't say when they will come out but told me people were mad yesterday pushing shoving:eek: and to look after myself.
By 11:00 people were grabbing things of the £5 rails too!
Don't think i'll bother maing special visits for this sale, was hoping for some nice boots and cardis:o0 -
Still a load of rubbish in Walsall store..... nothing was there for £1... just where the £1 rail was, there was a 'reduced' rail... with things priced up at £7 plus....... scanning at that too....... ah well.
think ive given up now, would have loved some winter boots too... dont care what they look like as long as my tootsies are warm.Proud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -
Went to the bigger store of the two local to me yesterday and asked the sa to point me in the direction of the sale stuff. She literally laughed in my face and said 90% of it never made it out of the back once the staff had chosen their things but directed me towards an almost full rail of take that t's
Oh well..least she was honest and I know not to bother making any more trips to see if anything else appears:rotfl:

I can't thank youi enough OP. My dd needed some new shoes for a bday party and so I was heading to Tesco anyway but spotted this thread before I left.
They were literally putting out shoes as I got to the clothing bit and I managed to get dd two pairs of shoes, and also got myself two pairs of shoes, a pair of shoe boots and a blouse.
I had promised hubby I wouldn't buy myself anymore shoes, but when he realised the six items would have cost 107 pounds, I was forgiven.Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once.0 -

it would really help everyone if you were to post which store this was at please... so other people can either have a try, or leave it... saves wasted journeys for people too, as so many have mentioned on here. xProud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -

Would have questioned him on it, but past midnight, just couldn't be bothered!0 -

Sorry should have said, this was Tesco Irlam at about 11.30 today. The shoes were great, but the clothing was rubbish and was just vest tops and take That tshirts. I was just lucky that I found a 1 pound blouse I loved disgarded in the full price stuffAims for 2014

nothing left at T*p Valley N*tts....1 rail, nicely mixed in with all the normal salestuff (which I didnt realise)...got all excited and got hubby some more work shirts and trousers and me some stuff for work...went to check out and was charged £68!!! Got even more excited then thinking of the DTD....but trout (who has the most sour face in the world..lord knows why she works there, she never smiles!)...basically told me that customers were chucking things were they wanted and mixing things up,so not really her problem...the stuff isnt a pound so either have a refund or keep it!! Got my refund and went...no clothes, no scales (all had the stickers on grrrrr)...no loo rolls (got excited as bar code matched- but scanned at £5)...nothing at all (except moon dough...but everywhere has that - it doesnt seem such a bargain!!)...oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained....will go again tomorrow...and Monday etc etchoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0
